      Right Nia Jax isn’t a knockoff version of Havok & WWE didn’t steel the broken gimmick with the Hardy’s & rename it the woken gimmick & they didn’t sign a bunch of Impact’s stars desperately trying to be like Impact & being greedy to try to get rid of competition because they can’t handle any company being better than them & they didn’t also bring in sting who’s a legend in Impact but claimed he’s a legend in wwe when he’s had very few matches there & they didn’t try to make Nikki Cross into a knockoff version of Daffney ok I’m Done because there’s too many to list of what wwe copied from Impact

      Pretty much. First Daniels & Kaz were trying to prove AJ was successful bc he was sleeping with Dixie Carter, then that was teased to be true but the two being seen together out of work was only bc they were sponsors for a recovering addict and then that dragged on to where Daniels & Kaz tried to say AJ & Claire had a thing, which turned into her being a crazy chick that drugged AJ but ultimately it was all something that Daniels & Kaz paid her to do. That is pretty much the whole god awful angle minus a baby doll in an AJ Styles hood

      +SHANKY48 I think that was his point though, at one point TNA did have a really good roster and put on several great matches throughout the year.
      At one point TNA's roster included
      Aj Styles
      Samoa Joe
      Kurt Angle
      Sting
      Bobby Roode
      Austin Aries
      TJ Perkins

      That doesn't really count though as it was intended as a parody.

    • @24magiccarrot
      @24magiccarrot 6 лет назад

      No it isn't the same thing there is a distinct difference between ripping off an idea and trying to present it as your own idea, and doing something that is intended as a mock up of some other well known work.

    • @24magiccarrot
      @24magiccarrot 6 лет назад

      no of course not, but there hasn't been an original idea in any art form for years.
      The latest blockbuster film won't contain anything that plot wise hasn't been done a hundred times before but doesn't make it a rip off.
      But a parody is a different type of non original idea, as it is intentionally, and presented as a take on a previous work.
      If you can't see the difference between having a similar gimmick story line and outright intentionally copying a storyline plot for plot then you are an idiot.

    • @24magiccarrot
      @24magiccarrot 6 лет назад

      At no point am I defending TNA. I'm just pointing out that the screw job reinacting clearly wasn't a rip off, but a parody there is a difference. I'm not saying TNA hasn't ripped off WWE storylines.

    • @Brandon-ce2zb
      @Brandon-ce2zb 6 лет назад +2

      This was not a parody they actually took the storyline seriously and when they copied the event it wasn't like they hilariously exaggerated it was almost exactly the same

Probably more as well. I'm not slating defiant wrestling but the similarities are noticeable. Although defiant has more opportunities to showcase their shared talent

    Despite all of this I really liked the feast or fired match, one dude getting fired and 3 others guys getting a title shot at a specific title is a great idea and gave way to interesting angles like when James storm waited nearly an entire year and didn’t carry the brief case around with him so it was even more of a surprise and blind side when he “cashed” it in during his awesome heel run and used (abyss I think) as his partner and took the tag titles from the American wolves (one of the best tag teams to ever come out of ROH) it was an amazing angle and just one of the amazing things that came out of that match
