As a child, I would visit my grandfather and go fishing in Eastern Oklahoma. We used to catch many sunfish that he called bream. It wasn't until I was much older that I realized that most of the was likely different types of sunfish.
Yes sir bream is a short name we use for all species. But we mostly catch bluegill and red ear around here. When I go trout fishing up North Arkansas, there are many species of sunfish. Pumpkin seed green sunfish red-breasted long ear and more. Very beautiful fish. Love the colors on these fish 😊
I just wanted to pop in and say that I found your channel and your content is right up my alley. I’ve been binge watching your videos. I live on a small lake in South Carolina and have been slaying the crappie. The swampy areas that you fish are absolutely gorgeous with those cypress trees. You have a new subscriber from South Carolina. Tight lines!
Wow! I really appreciate that. I'm glad you are enjoying the videos. I love this Cypress Tupelo swamps, one of my favorite places to fish. You have some beautiful country there too in South Carolina. I watch people fish around there. pretty place. I appreciate you watching Sam's outdoor adventures. ! I'm check out the channel. Tight lines!
Yes sir. I catch some good ones every once in awhile. I caught one that was 2 lb 9 oz would have been a new Arkansas state record but I left it in an aquarium for 24 hours trying to find someone from the game and fish to officially weigh it. It lost 2 oz after defecation and regurgitation, after all that, It would have tied the state record so I just gave up on that yellow bullhead catfish weigh-in. The Good thing is that I took it back to the same place I caught it and released it. I actually have it all on video one day I may make a video about it and put it on the channel
I have a link down below the video in the description box you can check it out there. Yeah if you're not too noisy they're not too scared but they see you, it's a little different
YANK!! Have you been getting in on these hot days? It sure has been hot here in Ky. You caught some nice bluegills for sure. Great video. Thanks for sharing!!
I have looked on Google maps at the Cache River and surrounding area. How the heck do you access the water? You must know a farm road or something. I’ve fished down south of there around all those little seasonal lakes. That area grows some large redears and bluegill.
Yes there is some nice bream. There is a boat ramp under the bridge at Cache River at highway 70. I just try to find creeks and make my way back as far as I can in there. Where they almost dead end. That's where the swamps and small lakes are.
If my reel goes underwater somehow or it rains a lot on my reels while I'm out there fishing. I will spray my entire reel down and then wipe it off just to make sure she keeps working good.
Thank you. Well, My PC went out. Could not edit no videos for a while. Most of my other computers are not strong enough to edit videos. So I have a new laptop now. It's amazing how fast your plans can get rearranged. But at least I'm back making videos again, starting today. Another big problem I have is very low internet download speed. It's slow like dial up. I hope one day they get this stuff fixed.
I love looking at all the fish. I figured a lot of people wanted to see the fish too. I like to check them out and see their Battle scars, their imperfections and perfections. I also love their beautiful colors.
Looks like a good place to fish. You know I like the sound of that drag. Enjoyed watching this video my friend. Thank you for sharing it with us!
Yes sir. Thank you for watching Preston

Another great fishing video --- gonna have to get a fan & umbrella.
Yes sir I am loving my fan. And you can't beat having an umbrella when you get a instant downpour. Makes life a little easier out there on the water.
Hey, I bought one of those fans. It’s a little beast!
Nice! Glad you got one. They sure do help in this hot weather.
Great video motivates me to go out fishing
Thank you. Definitely go when you get a chance. I love the peace and quiet and the relaxation, until I catch a fish and then I get excited.

You're welcome. This is CasheRiver swamps. It does have lots of Tupelo and cypress trees. Looks a lot like your area for sure.
