Idea: Each person goes for 5 minutes, twice! So they get to come back to it and see what's happened multiple times. Eg. Barry, Ben, Mike, Jamie, James, Barry, Ben, Mike, Jamie, James I think it's be hilarious to see them come back part way and see what's changed
The 4th wall breaking Jamie, and then the music reverting back after he sees just vegetables in a baking pan and ask what they are making. Just Priceless!
There is no fourth wall in a programme that has a presenter... The concept of the fourth wall relies on the fact that the characters are unaware that they are being observed.

He spends so much time trying to figure out what others are doing... He should just ignore that completely and just add his own thing instead, and since he's not going first he has time to think about what he's going to do before it's his time. Maybe, instead of trying to guess what exactly others are making, just take note of the flavours going on and add to it instead of trying to continue.
Ben NEVER panics during pass it ons....he always knows what to do, or what he wants to do....It's so amazing, and he never rates himself very highly. That little flourish with the honey drizzlestick at the end to be part of the final picture was nice! As was the plating for the veg, and lets be honest, the final butter and herbs on the wings made it look more gourmet for sure!
Next pass it on order: the guys go in order of the points they gave themselves in the last pass it on. From the lowest to highest points. So Jamie goes first because he rated himself a zero and Ben last since he gave himself 7.

Theme for next time: Use what has been left for you: You are not allowed to use the ingredients you picked ourself, just the one coming laters are allowed to use them. Mike goes first and last, first he picks 5 ingredients and then leaves and comes back to cook as the last person (he has good ideas sometimes). Chefs are allowed to pick 1 ingredient normals 5 to add for the next cook at the end of their turn, let them think about the order themself. Salt and Pepper do not count towards the ingredients. Chefs are not allowed to come after each other. It is a more complicated suggestion but probably a fun one.

He's gotta get it all done so when he passes the baton, everyone is on board. Because in a restaurant, that's where the ball always gets dropped. People can't seem to react well when the prep isn't done, but when it is done, usually other cooks can recover.

To be fair, it's not like he could do anything with the stuff that was in the oven. And he tried to help the rhubarb along, but that was a lost cause. So he had to start something new. Poached egg wasn't a bad idea, it goes well with lots of dishes and is visually striking.

I would love to see this combined with the suggestion for "French Cuisine." Seriously, can you imagine what they'd come up with if they were required to make something that fancy on things allowed in a college dorm?

Even a tiny single stove burner or a panini press will get you in trouble with a dorm RA if you’re in a traditional style dorm. Thus most people try to get out of dorms as fast as possible. There are usually options with full kitchens as well but they cost more.
I like how Barry set the tone nicely. He just went with his gut, and made sure the others had options and didn't try anything crazy. He did a good job.
DO A GLUTEN FREE WEEK. I'm a Celiac and I think that spreading awareness is important but also gluten free cooking is really hard. I would like to see the chefs try making Gluten Free bread

I was having a hard time recently and I have just finished re-watching the cloud eggs pass it on (always gives me a laugh) and then you uploaded this! The first food that came to mind when you said IG was burgers: those with oozing cheese with greasy patties that makes my mouth water.
