"There is so much snacking meat that we missed out on."
When I saw the notification, I actually said “oh good lord” out loud to myself, but that turned out pretty decently. It’s refreshing to see one where Jamie knows what’s going on. Unrelated: remember that one (I think it was food waste?) where they picked an order and then had to reverse it? I’d like to see one in that order (before reversal) because it seems like it could be successful. I think it was Ben, Mike, Jamie, James, Barry.
Jamie really leveled up! Fully expected him to chuck chorizo in 😂😂😂
This is definitely more entertaining than sitting at home staring at a wall. Thank you lads
As a spanish speaker, the way they say paella different almost each time (and quite wrong) hurts my ears. I still love them and this series tho ❤️
I've missed pass it on! ❤ at least I've got some good entertainment whilst self isolating 🥴🥴
2:52 "The onions are suffering in the pan"
Well that's certainly one way of putting it Ebbers
(I'm aware he probably meant "softening", this is just a funny joke)
I’d love to see you guys try to make a full dessert bar. Candy, cakes, cookies, whatever.
I love the "fun factor", "sarcasm" etc. ratings before each goes on to cook😂
I can hear the sounds of 1000 Spanish journalists typing from here in the US.
Too busy with the corona virus
@@cassandramuller7337 so the sounds of 1000 Spanish journalists going crazy stuck in their houses? Sounds like more frantic typing
@@Grumplebumple I suppose you have a point there as well
I love how Ben absolutely F**ked up the dish at the very beginning (non-stick paella pan, on a single hob so uneven heat, not leaving saffron out) and yet when James showed up at the end he fixed every issue. But the blame went to the normals?
What do you mean not leaving saffron out? Why do you think it was right there by the cutting board when James noticed it? It was the normals not even thinking about having to put it in. And the non-stick pan wasn't a mistake. The single hob is fair but that was only really obvious when the liquid was boiling, which wasn't until Barry's turn.
"I think the clues are there"... Paella pan sitting on stove
Before Ben's turn, it still could be Fideuas, various roasted Spanish dishes, various grilled Spanish dishes...
It felt a little fake. Of course not 100% obvious but nowhere near the challenge they made it sound like.
Love the new structure and intros for everyone!
Hope you all and your families are safe at this time!
This should be called "101 ways to pronounce paella wrong" 🤣
Elena Lezcano I cringed a little harder every time one of them said “pie-ela”. On the positive side, I think it may be even cringier when they refer to pasta as “past-uh”
At 7:19 didn't he say it right? Asking because I don't know.
Brian G. I think you’re right, and then a second later he reverted to the other pronunciation.
Thanks, I thought the double ll was pronounced as a y (Not a native to Spanish)
@@Spikejoker I am native Spanish and you're right on the "y" sound but for some reason he says what to me sounds like "paiella", so it's still not quite right
James' gingerness stats are off the charts, and I am here for it.
The intro of this video is 10/10 *chef's kiss*
Love that fancy music with all the screw ups haha
Yes, another pass it on!
You are doing a great job lately, balancing the funny videos with more serious one like the signature dish video.
