Okay, but low-key, Jamie's order was pretty damn well though out based on all their previous individual performances... not that it changed the end result haha.
But whenever James start it’d be awful. Like that time he spent £3 on quail eggs for a budget meal challenge. Or that time he decided to bake cakes because he didn’t want to use store bought pastry in a patisserie challenge. James has great ideas as chef but he is really bad at starting these challenges, simply because he is not there to finish his ideas...
I would think starting a normal off first would be a better strategy as they are more creative and bring on ideas where the chefs elevate their ideas and fix mistakes. Starting James first both mike and Jamie didn't know how to add onto his initial idea.
i know you all aren't as fond of the Pass It On challenges, but I learn more from them than many of the others because the time pressure encourages creativity on the fly and seeing the turning around of an unexpected development into an edible learning experience that stengthens your knowledge for the future is really helpful.

Jamie: I feel like we should have another rice element.
Everybody: Why?
Jamie: *grabs rice crispies*
Everybody: WHY???
Exactly!
I slow clapped. Amazing choice.
To answer your why, well, I don't think we will ever know, also why is there a box of rice cereal on that table in the first place
@@ironbatman9689 because content 🤣
"What is the point of celery?"
Mike is my spirit animal.
Same here! 😄
Being crunchy water.
Barry's desperate panic over trying to make the final dish look good is an entire mood.
Look forward to when you all can travel again. The explorations in particular cities (game changers) were the best! Terrific how you aimed to hit some of the iconic places / foods but also discovered some hidden gems. Honoring some great people or groups giving back to the community was awesome.
Mike: *knows exactly how long to cook hallumi*
Also Mike: *does not recognize celery*
Okay, but low-key, Jamie's order was pretty damn well though out based on all their previous individual performances... not that it changed the end result haha.
If they flipped Ben and James, it would have been better. James going first usually doesn’t end well.
Yea...idk, he should've let a normal start the dish, I think, but otherwise pretty solid lineup
I would think starting a normal off first would be a better strategy as they are more creative and bring on ideas where the chefs elevate their ideas and fix mistakes. Starting James first both mike and Jamie didn't know how to add onto his initial idea.
@@NerdyMusicChef Agreed
Yo Janice is f'ing on point.
"Hes been working here for 12 years...."
Thank you for existing....
Matthew Furlani what about "put his music on". That broke me. Janice rules.
i know you all aren't as fond of the Pass It On challenges, but I learn more from them than many of the others because the time pressure encourages creativity on the fly and seeing the turning around of an unexpected development into an edible learning experience that stengthens your knowledge for the future is really helpful.
Janice made a very good point, the normals have been part of a cooking RUclips channel for over 10 years yet they’re still somehow so clueless at times 😂
Ben’s “interesting” and perplexed look had me dying
A behind the scene about one of your typical day on set would be really interesting.
Like, what's happening with the food, what happens with the half used ingredients, does your whole team eats the rest of the dish and who is doing the washing up afterwards.
It would be really interesting to get a overview from the video idea to the finished video
Can you do a cake relay.... that would be CRAZY especially with the decor 💀
Haha! Good idea.... we can only imagine what we would end up with.
And jamie goes last and we can see jamie try and decorate the cake
Didn’t the pastry battle basically ended up being cakes?
@@SortedFood Order: Ultimate Battle Victories: most to least.
@@SortedFood Give yourself more time, though. It sounds like a great idea but I always prefer when you guys have realistic expectations while still being under some pressure. Most fun for us.
Honestly James’s “where the... DISH?!” Gets me every time in the intro 😂
Jaime was completely the agent of chaos in this episode. I feel like he went into this wondering how much he could throw everyone after him off lmao
I thought Jamie nailed the order but this is honestly the most frantic I've seen Barry.
you know they're never gonna check the oven or fridge when janice starts passive aggressively commenting about it
“Where’s....the dish?”
FABULOUS
I watched this episode on my tv yesterday while having breakfast in Full HD... It literally felt like they were right in front of me. After all these years watching sorted on my phone/laptop, I had no idea I’d enjoy watching Sorted this way. Even if it’s a Fail Pass It On. BRB re-watching all my fav episodes and becoming a potato couch now
I just wanted to thank you guys...
I have been having a really hard time with my clinical depression and anxiety lately and the pandemic has made it even harder with the quarantine. A friend of mine showed me your videos and I've been binge watching them. You all have made managing my depression much easier and given me something to enjoy and look forward to. There has been a marked improvement in my mental health since I started watching your videos and it's all because you are such wonderful people.
If there was one of you I most related to, though, it's James... and that is even more fitting because of a single video where he made a comment "Everything annoys me." and I couldn't have agreed more! xD
So anyway... thank you for doing what you do, for being wonderful people, and for helping me get through a really, really, REALLY rough time in my life. I don't know where I would be if I hadn't been introduced to your videos.

Ben's ability to make a decent dish out of a mess is what I most enjoy about this series
I know right! Ben is magical
To be fair to jaime his order was pretty well thought out.
Immediately chef: going to pick a rice I've never cooked as though this wasn't hard enough.
Tbf it was james ... ( cue the clip of james not picking pastry on pastry challenge )
@@alwyfadlluah574 lol yeah James just shouldn't go first. He has too much outside the box kind of thinking that the rest just never figure out what he's up to.
I think that's the first time Barry's ever turned a hob off 😂
I've been having a really stressful time lately, so watching my usual let's plays is too chaotic. So what better time to binge watch my favorite sorted vids? You guys give me joy, especially watching Pass It On hahah Your stress relieves mine.
That black rice, along with bananas and coconut milk makes a sensational pudding/kheer. It is unbelievably good!
“The community has decided to give Jamie the power.”
Mike: IDIOTS
Well, thank you very much, sir. 😝
I mean, he wasn't wrong.
I love love love Pass it On. No matter what concoction the guys come up with, Ebbers magically rescues it and makes it into actual food.
James: so, this is black venus rice. Never heard of it. James out here not surprising us one bit.
Also James: I didn't know what to do. So I picked the weirdest looking rice that I'd never seen before. That nobody would know how to cook. And I cooked that.
....James honey....... Are you okay????
Hahaha, we suppose he made it more interesting?
yea not surprising james hates the idea of it being boring or easy hence why he's refused to use premade pastry in the pastry episode
barry drains the rice
The Uncle Roger within me: You DRaainNing thE RiCe
Yeah, you can hear Uncle Roger screaming "Haiyah"😂😂😂
Thanks for all of the pass it on episodes, it's my favorite non-car series on RUclips!
Just saw the notification.
My mind: Oh dear, Oh dear...
You know the score 😉
@@SortedFood No matter what, James will always get a 10 from Janice
Order suggestion: Someone/Everyone picks the order, then whoever gets picked to go last, goes first instead.
They've already done that, right? They select the order then reverse it?
This one isn't reverse its
5,2,3,4,1
@@hayitsnara5093 I actually meant 5, 1, 2, 3, 4, but yeah
@@GirishManjunathMusic last goes first, but everyone else in the same order
Great idea!
No matter what happens I think we can all agree that if Ben was first he would have done a risotto.
He probably would have made congee. It would be gloopy. That's for sure.
This is my favorite cooking show on RUclips. I'm a longtime subscriber and it's been amazing to see the channel grow and change over the years
Been binge watching Pass it On videos .... I am absolutely in love with the Janice play by play... I laugh so hard... Snarky and full of sass... Love it!!!
How in the world did Jamie get away with re-toasting rice krispys, adding the side veg to the already veg added chorizo, and grilling celery? The dish was literally perfect until this absolute chaos was thrown in. There is a reason he stayed quite until someone said something they liked that was his lol
We need a Sorted Reacts video for this(others as well), so we can everyone’s jaws drop
There needs to be more Sorted Reacts (to their own vids) in general! I really loved those and wish there were more.
Maybe if lock down means they need home filmed content or god forbid they need to quarantine then they could film reactions over video chats.
Barry turning off the hobs by himself it's not something I thought I would see.
The fact that it was giving him anxiety felt like character growth 🤣
James: You only have to put a lid on it when it comes to the boil
Ben: *thinks in geek*
I truly believe that the pass it on series is a modern miracle. I’m spending my Christmas alone (because of Covid) so I’m just rewatching all of the series. Not a bad way to spend Christmas
This is the most enjoyable format you guys do, love it, please do more. Stay well.
"I'll leave the hob on, it's his safe space." Spot on!
Omg they should definitely react to this PIO, James NEEDS to see what happened to the rice.
"Dear O Dear" perfectly sums up the feelings of all the 5 people involved in the pass it on!😂
It's always so amazing to see how chefs are parallel processing all these ideas and actions while in the midst of things, really the big difference between them and us normals
"i've left the hob on for him, it's his comfort space" this made my day
