Such unashamed honesty; it’s in the lyrics.

I wish more contemporary Christian artists were like him and like Keith Green. Those two men who shared the same birthday who both had tragic ends had such a vulnerable and relatable heart for the Lord. So many times a lot of these modern Christian songs just don’t seem as raw as I would like them to be. We need songs, not just about deliverance over our fears, but we need songs of deliverance over sins

First time I heard this song, I broke out in tears, and I don't cry easy but it was a prayer I could not articulate. I miss Rich.

Why hide? Can't hide one thing from God. Truth is always best. Rich enjoyed drinking and pot. At least ye did not hide all that and was clean before the Lord with his sin in life

Beautiful, I play the song often but never heard this recording.
It is more delicate, more intimate than the studio recording.
Thank you for your love for Rich and his fans to share such a precious gift.
    May you be blessed always.

Hey Christians, this is how we all really are, vulnerable, weak and constantly struggling. But there's always a way out: "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."

would like to have met this man...wisdom we all need in this day and age. We are all so judgmental and not forgiving enough. Grace and love is lack in our world. I will try to do my part. He was very much Christ like...

His work was complete. He lived a very compacted, & intense life. Much more than the rest of us, I think. I believe he was lonely here. God gave him reprieve by taking him to heaven. I rejoice for him. Lucky duck! 🙂

He was so real and fragile. And so honest about his struggles. Just because we surrender our lives to Christ doesn't mean it gets easier. It just means we have a Savior who understands what it's like to be tempted and gives us the promise of the Hojy Spirit (our helper) who will aid us when we struggle with temptation. And He forgives us when we stumble and fall.

He had a way of helping people be comfortable with their own vulnerability, and the gift of giving off the vibe its ok to be human because that's how we were made. He vibed Jesus all the way.

What an amazing story! I never really thought of Rich as one who is tempted to commit sin, but this is a wonderful and subtle reminder that we’re all flawed and that we all fail, even the best of us!
But God’s Grace endures and His love is everlasting.
Thank you, Rich, for your honesty and your candor. Thank you, God, for your precious Son and his blessed sacrifice. ❤

Everyone has and will gall short to GOD. Every single person sins and most likely we all will actually die in some type of sin. Only God knows our hearts and will let into Heaven who he wants

      Read his book
it's called an arrow pointing toward heaven..... There's also a movie called richmond's ragamuffin gospel or something to that effect. It really does describe parts of him that nobody probably even knew. I didn't until I watched it . He had a lot more "Imperfections" then the gospel industry would have let anybody know....
