I think the reason I resonant with rich so much is the fact of how simple and deep his answers are. God thank you for richs mullins life even after decades of his passing. All Glory to you Lord.

What an interesting and intriguing man.
It is a pleasure to listen to him speak about GOD, not as a 3-point sermon, but just as normative life.
I am in sponge mode, feeding off his interviews and words of comfort in these dark and poisonous days of sorrow and pain.

I had the absolute pleasure of spending time with Rich,Beeker, and prisoners of Hope when they were touring. They came to perform at our church and my parents as they normally did opened up our home for them to stay there. And then there was also a summer when choice lifestyle were at Christ and youth conference in Michigan. I talked every single member there and as corny as it sounds, I still have their cassette tape. I really wish there was a way to let them know that even now their music still resonates in my heart at a time of my life before things went tragically the wrong direction for a very long time. But having so much information and archives of the things that he spoke about, and how he truly lived his life, I'm so glad that it's still here for everybody to see. I've introduced him to my children, and they are slowly getting his music integrated into theirs playlist.

But loved the Lord and let the Lord love him. He loved people and wasn't a typical "Christian" found in most Evangelical churches...with a pretend God. Fashioned after their own anger selfishness vengeance and judgmentalism.

How many Rockstars superstar recording artists do you know who it’s been such a long time praising an uplifting the work and ministry and lifestyle of their Friend? As the fictional character, jerry McGuire says“ we live in a cynical world a cynical world“ a world where if anybody’s going to talk about somebody else is usually to put them down. Most rock superstars would suck up all the oxygen in the room and talk about themselves endlessly and only mention their friends if they had any relevance to their success. This is so genuine and so refreshing and an object lesson that many of us can learn from. I’m learning that I’m way too selfish and talk way too much about myself

Wow, one of the best lessons Rich did, I think. Really needed to hear this today. wish I could've been in some of his classes, but I know Gods' timing is perfect. I wish here, today 20 years later, we could have a revival with teachers such as Rich Mullins. Pray that Christ fills men of truth for these generations.

Criticism can destroy us or make us grow. We can't stand outside ourselves and see ourselves the way God and other people see us. Sometimes God puts people in our lives who aren't afraid to tell us what we need to work on. It's important to listen to criticism and evaluate it. Does this person love me and have my best interest in mind? Can there be truth in what they're saying? Will this make me climb a little higher and grow closer to God? If those questions are yes, then learn from it and pray to do better. If those questions are no, throw it away and move on. Give the people who care about you the time to consider what they say. The people who just want to steal your soul... Walk away!

This incredible interview reminds me of Proverbs 26:4-5 - Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest you be like him yourself. Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own eyes.
Is it just my imagination, or has Rich insulted this liberal interviewer without him knowing it? I found his questions irritating. Rich responds much more kindly than I would have! 😂❤ I need a lot of sanctification when it comes to loving my neighbor! 🙏🏼

I first heard about the Howards at the Memorial for Rich in Wichita. Obviously a weird day so i could remember stuff wrong but i think... didn't Rich end up in Wichita to study with or be disciplined by the Howard's Dad, and then he passed away? I think his wife was there and spoke about him. I should probably wait the rest of the 53 minutes, but here ya go :)
