@@jonathancraigguides yes ,lived at the Glen Rothay and as parents were busy we wandered off walking or fishing on Rydal water as the hotel had a boat on there,it was our favourite time.Look forward to more of your videos soon hopefully as they are great to watch.

Another good walk 👍🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️👨‍🦯👩‍🦯 do you have PDF guide??

I don't for this one, but it is easy to follow. The pdf guides were an experiment but take up was very low so only a small number of routes were produced. For this walk park at White Moss Common. There are lower car parks, which are pay and display, but if you drive up the minor road that links White Moss and Grasmere there are two small car parks that are free on the left hand side at the top of the hill. They are actually remains of old quarries now used for car parking, and even on busy days there are usually spaces when the lower car parks are full. The walk around Rydal Water is very popular, so has really clear well used paths. Signage is also good. The walk takes about an hour and a half on a good day. You can also visit Rydal Mount, Wordsworth's home, half way round. The gardens are excellent, and they also have a small tea room.
