I was diagnosed in early 2016. Never took a disease modifying drug, and dont pln to. I haven't had a relapse since my first 2 relapses in 2016. My treatment focuses on diet, yoga, physical therapy, mushroom supplements, vitamin D and magnesium supplements, and a paleo diet. I have also been taking low dose naltrexone for about a year now. I was only 27 when i was diagnosed. Here's hoping i never have another relapse.
Edit: I'm trying a treatment now. LDN didn't help like I hoped, so I quit that and went back on a painkiller.

You've just been lucky. Not taking a DMT is a huge mistake that you will regret. There literally is no point in not taking one as an add on to what you're already doing.

@@Wow-673 I don't see a point in suppressing my immune system, especially when the drugs are typically less than 50% effective.

I’m at my wits end now. Past 6/7 months I’ve been having symptoms. Balance problems gait issue, cog fog, memory loss, tingling, 24/7 tinnitus, not feeling with it at all. Had MRI of brain and all of my spine and all was clear and nothing was shown. However I’m being told it’s not MS. My dad has MS.m. I’m stuck in a position where I have to deal with these symptoms and try to go about my normal life it’s really hard and effecting me I genuinely don’t know what to do anymore

Maybe you need cerebrospinal fluid test? I’m finally getting an MRI and neurology consult. Have had worsening symptoms for many years. Have been blown off as Fibromyalgia, menopause, being a female over 50. It is SO FRUSTRATING!
I know how discouraging it is, but please keep on them. We have to be our own advocates today in our medical care. ❤

If your MRI was clear you do not meet the diagnostic criteria. A lot of illnesses mimic MS. Fibro, lyme, etc.

Doctors today actually are recommending the highly effective treatments like Ocrevus for RRMS. The ones you listed are no longer considered effective enough and are rarely prescribed.

    • @juliogonzalez3612
      @juliogonzalez3612 3 месяца назад

Nonsense, to begin with there is no accesibility of ocrevus for all population and its not a first line treatment in current guidelines. And its not useful in acute symptoms.

I don’t understand why with diseases they don't start with what is their diet and how long have they been on it?. How high is the inflammation in each person’s body with whatever disease they have and do they have a leaky gut due to their diet/antibiotics and what mineral deficiencies do they have And then go from there. It would be a great starting point as well as taking subjects doing every different diet there is and testing their inflammation levels and checking their gut microbiome and checking to see if and what mineral deficiencies they have. That way you might not be able to cure the people with the disease, though you might, but you could eliminate aloft of disease if you could figure it out from the bottom, up. People who really wanted to be more in the healthy side of life could adapt the diet and protocol that is the best one to reverse or eliminate disease altogether. Then you could figure out what is specific to each disease.

I have MS, and i treat it with medical cannabis, diet, yoga, and low dose naltrexone. You are right, diet should be the first line of defense. I also take vitamin D as my levels were extremely low when i was diagnosed.

There isn't really an specific etiology for MS, and the autoinmune theory is the best accepted. As everything autoinmune in life you can't cure it, but delay simptoms for the pacient.

@Rhesus Medicine - I have MS diagnosed in 2017. After years of miss diagnosis...
    Please take note
    - Cause is poor fatty oily diet + consumption of dairy.
Saturated fats and oils suffocate the mitochondria that delivers energy to the junctions I would assume it's a similar function as the BBB junctions.
The immune system interacts with the intrusive dairy molecules, teaching the body to attack itself, to whatever is similar to those molecules are...
Multiple sclerosis, diabetes type 1, Lupus, arthritis, etc etc, and so on...
I would say all of the known and immune system diseases.
    Please take note!
Tell your patient's to stop consuming animal fats and oils! For multiple sclerosis patients this is the cause of attack's, and the definition for attacks should be changed, any MS symptoms should be classed as attack! Because the passion has caused a leak by consuming fats & or Oils!
To not inform the patients of this, is causing harm, and their conditions will deteriorate. And continue having multiple sclerosis attacks.
When Oils and animal facts are consumed they, they cause the blood to go sludgy and inefficient add transferring oxygen, causes anoxic environment, suffocation of the cardiovascular system which is hype hypoxic, suffocating the cells in the mitochondria that feeds the junctions the energy that's required to keep them closed.
Too much suffocation can cause permanent damage that leads to primary progressive!
Tell your patience they need to change their lifestyle to a "NO OILs!!!! Starchivore Vegan Lifestyle"
The multiple sclerosis drugs do not work, and in fact they give a false sense of protection.
Patients are patients ill-informed of this fact, and the drugs cannot protect against a hypoxic cardiovascular system!
Fact it only takes a little oil 1 - 2 mg of any kind to have this effect.
And can take up to 48 hours (two days) after consumption, or less if the victim is consuming sugars.
    Ref: Dr John McDougall MD
Doctors should give their patients to read the "Colour Picture Book" by Dr John McDougall.
And if they are experiencing pains, they can learn Dr Brooke Goldner's 3 free gifts, and watch Gift 2.
You can find this information on Google search.
That's all they have to know to get well
Permanent damage can be fixed with stem cell IV treatments.
I found it doesn't help with balance.
You can train them to rebalance themselves by balancing on cushions and one foot etc
One thing is 100% for sure, treating the disease with drugs and ill informing patients Leeds to the progressive ness of the disease.
And I what regard that as harming the patient though the lack of knowledge and understanding!

I have a question, do you know where America ranks in healthcare? It's not first, so you know that. I suggest looking up 2017. That's my favorite. There is a CURE for MS. In fact, there is a CURE for a LOT of diseases. In America, not so much but where do we rank? You know that you know a lot.
