I’m from Germany and I have to tell you that the Opal and Regia sockyarns are both superwash treated as most of the german sockyarns with this percentage of wool and polyamide. They are machine washable but at low temperatures (max. 40 C). I have tons of handknitted socks from my grandma, my mother in law and myself and I wash them all in the machine and never had a problem. But I would not put them in the dryer.😊
