I’m definitely trying to pick up those two fourth world Omni’s once I finally get a job.
Yes, the Sabretooth vs Wolverine art reminds me of the “No Fear” and “No Rules” art featured on trapper keepers throughout the 90s.
Definitely getting Wolverine Omnibus Vol 5!!! Mid 90's is when I got into comics but being a teenager funds were limited and I was focused on Image and the Bad Girl craze so I missed out on most of what DC and Marvel were pumping out.
The entire Dark Horse Predator output is NOT collected in the Marvel omnibuses because volume 1 left out Predator: Race War, maybe because that miniseries has a lot of instances of the n-word and Marvel didn't want to have to deal with that. Aside from that, the story has a ton of narrative problems, but yeah, not the whole line, but most of it.
I liked the Predators movie. But I really like Predator 2 as well for the reasons you listed.
Man, wasn't sure I needed those Power Ranger archives, but that artwork is really throwing me back.

Predator 2 wasn’t the best Predator movie but they explore Predator universe so much.

Agreed but it was a different beast and bringing the predator into a urban setting/environment was inevitable and the gangland drugs war story created the perfect excuse for lots of guns which was the typical fare for a action film in the 90's great stuff

I’m actually planning to pick up the ASM Vol 2 by Nick Spencer when it drops. Can’t wait I got vol 1 already and loved it tbh. Can’t wait for vol 2. Collected some of vol 2 as it came out so I know most of what’s collected.
Predators was dope Adrian Brody going hard. Took my first paycheck to the movies to see it.

Haha I know you meant Danny but when you said Donald Glover on the ship at the end of Predator 2, I thought of the gif of him from Community walking into an apartment on fire after going out for pizza. And I thought Predators was good starting off but def had some ridiculous writing (Morpheus being nuts and talking to himself, Topher Grace, a lot of wtf’s😂). Pumped for the new Predator projects in the works though. Great review, the vol. 2 omnibus looks great!

Thanks for the review. Cant understand why Marvel keep pushing that weak design on the hardcovers. But cannot complain about the spine design. Thankfully not the terrible micro text on the spine
Wolverine & Punisher were 2 of my favorite they feel more like batman street level how you said , I just started getting into ghost rider I always liked the character his self but didn't read mush of his stuff
I was excited for Predator Omnibus Vol. 2 until we were told what we were allowed to read
I did the same thing with my Deadpool wolverine tpb, "is this collected in my latest omni?" Nope, gotta be in the next one.

Spider-Man by Nick Spencer omnibus 2 has a misprint whole page wrong in issue 49) Won't buy it, as Marvel only sends out a PDF with the fixed page and won't put out a corrected version of the book. Makes a possible sale in the future very hard if the reprint this book eventually in 5 to ten years.

Is that a printing error on ASM by Spencer v2? Looks like page with Gwen, Miles and Spider-Man is printed twice on n a row and word ballon’s only look correct for right side… but I don’t have the original issue to compare

Predator is owned by Fox, like just Alien, and Disney/Marvel now owns them. Wait until you find out Marvel prints Star Wars comics too! 😂😂
@@KokoTheGorilla69I didn’t know this, I thought when you licence something you own the work you produce while you have the licence. I’ve no idea why anyone would bother getting a licence when you can’t even reprint the work you did. Dark Horse payed artists & writers and then disney can just come in and take it, that’s so bad.
I was surprised that’s how it works too. But apparently that’s how it goes lol
@@InfamyOrDeath-__- Disney owns Star Wars and can re-release the old films in theaters and on disc whenever they want because they own it. Why would comics/music/books, etc be any different?
@@KokoTheGorilla69 That’s different, they bought Lucas Films & got the rights, Dark Horse payed for the licence to produce a comic, they should retain the rights for the comics they produced.
