Living vicariously through your channel when it comes to Omnibus. The only exceptions I'll make are the Hellsing and Berserk deluxe editions. The Dark Horse Aliens vs Predator deluxe edition is sick!

I think fist of the north star only ever had the first 4 graphic novels released by Viz in the 90's/early 2000's. If they ever release that full series, I am going all in.

If you are still looking for Manga to read... I highly recommend: Vagabond and Monster
I think those two titles are the best manga what I read so far. Vagabond is like taking a warm dip in spa, it's just so relaxing and gorgeous. And Monster is probably one of the best psychological thrillers I ever read.
And then you have: "Vinland Saga" and "Oyasumi punpun" ... That first one is pretty grindy and the last one is a bit of a dark emotional story of someone growing up. Both ar deff. worth your time.
And if you want to have some beautifull artwork: "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin". It's a pretty good story, but written for 15-17 year olds. But the artwork is stunning and you can still get it in hardcover at the moment.
Apperently they are going to print "Blade of the Immortal" in deluxe edition. I think it's worth it, altough I'm not as hyped as a lot of Americans are over this title. There are just some elements that annoy me, but it also has some really good and epic moments. I just secretly hope they are going to release "Lone Wolf and Cub" again... because it's hard to collect and I heared a lot of good stuff about it.

I collected that Superman/Batman run in single issues when it came out...mainly for all the different artists; McGinnis (Spellcheck), Turner, Pacheco, etc. So many good artists!
The Morbius Omnibus looks cool. I love that Superman/Batman run it was my first physical comic book that I ever bought.

Regarding the Berserk/Hellsing sticker question: I stick the stickers to the inside back cover of the books. It's good to have everything but I like the clean look of nothing on it when I pull it off the shelf and flip through the pages. It's there if I want to see it.

It's cool and funny to see that AVP Hardcover because the old Aliens, Predator, and Terminator hardcovers was the first ever video I watched from Gem and got me into collected editions. It's funny to see come full circle

Def want to pick up the Oz complete trade Love Skottie Young artwork and his humor, not thrilled that its smaller size. Hellsing looks dope my son reads Bezerk deluxe edition so I've been reading his. I might pick that up for me or him (Christmas)
I do take the stickers off, I don't want any adhesive residue to damage these deluxe editions.

I’m interested in the Savage Avengers, but I have no desire to collect thinner trades with only 6 issues. unless it’s a self contained series or something. Same with Punisher Soviet.
Helsing is going to be a must for me. Love berserk. Also, the morbius omnibus looks fantastic. I'm not top familiar with the character so it seems like a good way to get into it before the movie.

The Alien Vs. Predator gold strips on the pages looks nice. If all golden age omnibus would have that to pay homage to the artists and writers of golden age era, and to have that same concept with both silver age and bronze age omnibus on both silver and bronze strips on the pages.

I remove stickers from my berserk deluxes but out the back paper inside the cover at the end. I am probably buying Hellsing deluxes haven't read that before but it's seems interesting. I would have been reading it before but my local library have only books 3, 8 and 9 right now. Probably others were stolen or destroyed.
Eric Shanower and Skottie Young’s Oz run is so damn good. It’s a great adaptation of the books, and great for all ages (even enjoyable for adults, like a Pixar movie). The omnibus would be a good recent reads for the channel.

I love that Morbius omni I like compilation omnis like the wolverine one. So you get a sense of who that character is and there earliest appearances which I love Morbius' 2 part appearances within the pages of Amazing Spider-Man. Those were really good. Savage Avengers looks cool but why have it be like an extension of the avengers? Would've made more sense for it to be an extension of the defenders and show that team some love for a change especially since doc strange is on it. And Batman/Superman looks like a nice compilation omni as well. I love that early 2000s type of animated cartoon vibe that Ed Mcguiness has in his art and when comics in general have this cartoon art vibe (the good kind) like JRJR or Mike Wieringo or Greg Capullo to name a few.

Man, I have the Hellsing Vol 1-10 from like 2007/2008. I am thinking about getting the omnis to upgrade. But also thinking about spending the money to buy Jason Aaron's Thor vol 4. it will put me one step closer to the completing his whole run. The AVP book looked GREAT! soo many decisions. If you watch the anime watch hellsing ultimate it’s only 10 episodes with a longer runtime each one covering a volume. After you finish this omni you can watch the first 3 episodes to avoid spoilers.

I found all 4 issues of the Marvel Masterpieces Collection comics at my local used book shop for 50 cents each. Also found book 1 of the X Men Ultra Collection comic and issues 1 and 2 of the Jim Lee Marvel X-Men Collection for 75 cents each. They were all bagged and boarded and clean. A couple have one or two spine ticks. I know they are not worth a whole lot but it was a great nostalgia find. I collected the cards as a kid and these art books are what got me into checking out comic issues as a kid.

You are better off with trades anyway, easier to store on a self , cheaper, they usually have bonus materials or go hardcovers
The Superman/Batman omnibus is essential just for the beautiful artwork by the late Michael Turner - his Supergirl and Darkseid were amazing. Otherwise I totally agree the cartoony art in the first part of the omnibus thew me off when I was reading the single issues. Love that Hellsing Deluxe you have there! I wish Lone Wolf & Cub would get this kind of Berserk and Hellsing deluxe treatment! Scream looks amazing. Don't like the art in Captain Marvel. When Morbius was being published in the 1970s Marvel was also publishing the hugely popular Tomb of Dracula. Maybe they wanted a vampire character that interacted more with the Marvel universe - that's what it looks like from the pages you showed us. Thanks Gem!

The Alien vs Predator is beautiful. Great story too, wish they had adapted the story for the movies because it's 1000x better. I've gone after the new essential comic series for Alien, Predator, and AvP. All very enjoyable if you like the franchises and look great on the shelf with all the other omnis.

Great Haul video. I love that Hellsing book. Even story aside, the book for It and the Berserk Volumes are at the top of my personal favorites in my collection. I really hope they keep these Dark horse Deluxe books coming, I can't wait to see the gray cover for The Immortal Blade when it drops. I'd really love to see them release Blame! and Gantz in this format. I have the Master Edition for Blame! but they are softcover. Skottie Young wrote and drew a series called I Hate Fairyland. I loved it. I caught the single issues back when they dropped and even have the F*ck Fairyland Variant for issue 1 signed by Skottie Young. This series got Skottie Young's name into my brain and made me realize all these variants and artwork I've seen and loved were his. There are 2 hardcovers for this series that collect the whole story including the I hate Image special issue. I can't recommend these hardcovers enough. They feel great, they are bright and colorful like the art inside, and only about 50$ for both books. If you like hyper violent cartoon goodness, it would be a great addition to a collection.
I leave the stickers unless any part starts to come off then it gets removed. I also take the inserts they put on top of the covers and place them on the inside of the cover.
Man if they put out Blame! In deluxe hardcover format Imma freak out! That is probably my top manga to get that treatment.

Gem Mint Collectibles: I even use a hairdryer to heat up stubborn stickers so that no adhesive is left on the book when I peel it off, lol!
just got the Hellaing deluxe myself, so of course I checked if Gem picked it up! as for the anime series, there's actually two done by the same animators, you may have heard of what happened with FullMetal Alchemist even if you don't know much about anime and manga, the first series adds an original villain for the last few episodes and ends differently, a few years after the manga finished though the made the _Ultimate_ series as 10 double length episodes, I'm most familiar with the _Ultimate_ series. taking a look at the manga though, Integra, the boss of Hellsing, looks far more feminine. she kind of looks like a guy in the anime
wondering when we'll get to see what Gem thinks of Hellsing, it's kind of in the same market as Berserk but it's a vastly different series

Nice got the Hellsing deluxe I hope they do blade of the immortal in the same format I'd be double dipping on everything but those deluxe are nice

Supposedly, Blade of the Immortal Deluxe will still be in its rearranged format from the 90s, forcing you to read it in left-to-right. Although the art is not actually flipped, it still ruins the visual flow a little as you move from panel to panel. They should have done a little work for once instead of being lazy. Manga doesn't deserve that treatment these days. It's been widely accepted to just keep it right-to-left for the last 20 years now. I won't be collecting those, I just can't support flipping stuff (even if it's *technically* not), but I am getting the Berserk and Hellsing books. If they had it in its original right-to-left format, I'd have them pre-ordered - just as I did with the 2 previous series.
I hold out a little hope we may get Lone Wolf & Cub, Samurai Executioner and Path of the Assassin all in this Deluxe format, but with all of its artwork in its original right-to-left format. You don't fuck with peoples' artwork like that.
@@Tsiri yea Its a shame but they did what they had to do to sell it in America not everyone was open to reading right to left, yes it would be amazing to have deluxe format of Goseki Kojima artwork I have lone wolf and cub but it's so small it is one of the biggest influences of pop culture across many formats countries and generations
