Set target not for target ground, for targeting ground we have attack command, but set target is used for priority target setting, so units in the fight when the target is in range will start a fire at the set target and instead of shooting nearest target.
Restauring the ground work on Lava map, if u have normal ground and have big explosion ( commander boom/geo boom/afu...), ground disapear and lava get out and spread and damage everything and ground dont get back. Restaure "add" ground and close ground breach. Restaure normaly work on shore/water but I have never try it so IDK.
Guard order works to make constructors follow another one and assist him, and they also repair the unit they guard Im pretty sure. Might also work to keep a mobile radar and/or jammer near your artillery unit group, or mobile AA or repair bots around your com or whatever else you can think of. I'm not sure if you can ask 1 unit to guard multiple ones so they don't just stop when the first one guarded dies. I'll have to test that.
Why did we lose the "Track" functionality in Grid keys layout? I love tracking units and have the camera follow them, but now only Legacy keys has Track.

It would be interesting to see if you can have a guard command on multiple units. That could be pretty powerful
Need to look at the settings. Pressing tab just zooms out and pressing again back to where you were.
It’s likely cause you have not selected grid key optimization. I recommend this because it is very intuitive.

Attack ground could be used if you saw a commander go invisible, but do not have radar. More so for artillery vs close combat
Yes I’ve used this a few times but it’s pretty hard to get down perfect cause the com can change direction pretty rapidly.
