It can be situational for sure. In 1v1 you definitely can try to protect from early attacks with either the nice thing about a few pawns or grunts is that you can move them forward. Eventually getting llts near your base is always a good idea due to the widespread of the map in 1v1. Play with both and see which you prefer.

I have been noticing them more as well but I still think the potential of shuri and strong bomb runs adds to the 1v1 potential as well. In a 1v1 pawn vs grunt pretty sure grunt still wins. Would be an interesting test tho

I think you might be overstating my position a little. All I’m intending to say is that I have seen a lot of high os still using the cor for 1v1s in particular. Sure lower games matter less with the range advantage but I have just noticed it still has been a pattern from what I have personally seen as anecdotal as it may be. Yes you can use arm I just find pawns don’t catch up very quickly, something to consider.

And grunts can shoot somewhat to air. And their bombers are better early on.

@@JAWSMUNCH304 Idk how strong you feel about it but i've heard you mention it more than a few times and im irked by it each time. Take a look at the 1v1 and 2v2 games that happened after the pawn buff and you will see a more even distribution of faction picks.

Cor is definitely better for 1v1. If you look at high level games even after the pawn buff cor is still picked 70% of the time. Pro players like to win, so they will pick the faction that gives them the best chances and that faction is cor on most maps. arm can be played on some maps, but its definitely a little weaker overall.

It may have some merit but the amount of coordination from all players would be tricky. Getting people to play in proper positions is hard enough😂. I would how ever recommend if some people wanted to form a group of 8 people for a team they use some form of this suggested strategy.

Another potential issue is that the eco play scales thro e conversion and giving away too much may make it quite difficult to get mass t3 for the team.

@JAWSMUNCH304 Yeah, I could see that becoming a problem if you didn't/couldn't get a head in t1 and leverage the advantage, but for a pre-made or tournament where everyone knows what's going on might be a good curveball like the energy building transfers we are starting to see happen on Supreme Ism to speed up the assault on the center for the early reclaim.

I definitely feel that. It took me like 6 months to figure a lot of commands out as well. Hopefully it does get updates in the future. I believe they are moving to a matchmaking system which should largely eliminate the server system they have

I think it’s a cool idea too. The setup is tricky tho cause they can push you early if you don’t act carefully. I want to try it again. It’s especially just a fun way to trick the enemy

@@JAWSMUNCH304 Yeah, timing the setup is tricky and you have to use the suprise to push really hard and it only works once but afterwards any wall becomes very scary which buys time. Hmm. Oh btw, how do you control the enemy for testing? I don't know how to take control of the commander. I tried but there's something I'm missing...

This is the best way to run tests is with all of this You should use these commands with an inactive Al to simulate real battles in your tests, it gives you control over both armies Cheat /globallos /godmode 3 There are others which i use that are helpful as well like these /nocost /give resourcecheat You can also spawn Units with commands if you care to learn that, it is insanely helpful and pretty easy to do as well
