- So I've been wanting to react to asexual memes for awhile now and I've finally did it. Today I'm reacting to some memes gone asexual!

I was also taught not to have sex before marriage, and I had no idea why it was such a big deal... Bc why would I want to? Why would anyone have trouble with that? Why did it have to come up in every conversation about dating?
My thoughts exactly, growing up in a Christian home made me shocked when I heard that people actually wanted to have sex but must be celibate. Making me think "why is that so hard?" without knowing I was ace-spec.

I’m ace and enjoy dirty jokes. I also enjoy jokes about jobs, hobbies, and sports I don’t play or have no other interest in except humour.

When it comes to dirty jokes there's two main kinds of aces: the really innocent one who doesn't understand any of the jokes and the one that laughs like a hyena at all of the jokes

My funniest ace experience is that I accidentally tried "seducing" a friend twice. The first time, I told them I loved them, because it was true. I loved them like they were my sibling, and kids our age (5th grade) were saying stuff like that all the time. I was asked to explain myself, and I did, and they promptly told me to never say that again. I obliged. But then, about 2012 I was in middle school and asked them to Netflix and chill, thinking we'd just sit and watch Netflix with snacks, and they had to explain to me what Netflix and chill meant. I immediately took back what I said and things were so awkward we didn't hang out that day. They knew I was aro/ace before I did, and even proposed the label to me, and I turned it down because I thought I was just a "late bloomer". I knew I was years behind on social ques (still am), so it made sense to me. I never "bloomed". I'm very much aro/ace.
