    Back when people still bought newspapers you could wet one edge of the newspaper and sweep dirt from the floor onto it and then dump it into the waste basket. Quick, cheap and neat.

      THANKS! I do have a neighborhood newspaper, newsprint quality, and I'll try that along my sidewalk as I have a lot of fine debris including dandelion seed fluff to blow out onto the walk but I don't want it going haywire into the grass again.

    I'm not quite sure what the thrill is to have bottles cut in half for a lock on doors - which I've seen multiple times, but some of these were actually good ideas. It would be nice if you'd state clearly what solution was being used in the Rust Removal clip, as that would be helpful to a lot of us, unless it's some hazardous material - which I suspect it is.
    I'm particularly impressed by the guys handling heavy loads, using Foam blocks to catch the inevitable drops. Hadn't thought of that, but it seems to work surprisingly well. Overall, an interesting video, even if some of it is clearly not something you'd use in real life in the US. We do have codes here, and some of this is clearly foreign in origin, or they'd never get away with it.

She didn't use fitted sheets because they don't fold flat and take longer to dry, but she could still whip the sheets onto the bed, tuck in those precise 45 and 90 deg. angles, lay out two blankets on top (it's _cold_ in NW Ohio), tucking each equally precisely, and have the flowered bedspread on, all in about sixty seconds flat. Just _whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh_ *flop* _smoooooth,_ and it looked like an illustration from a student recruitment flyer. It was amazing.

    8:30 - That's a common misundestanding about balls of string and wool. 🙂 The ball is wound from the centre out, so you're meant to draw stuff off it from the inside, not the outside. Try it.
    No need for any clever holding devices to stop the ball spinning and wriggling and bouncing all over the place; just sit the ball on a shelf (or in your pocket if you're outside in the garden) and it'll remain still whilst you draw string from its core, not its outer edge.

      I think he meant string, it was string in that bottle,I have had something like that in my garage for years, as no one ever knew where the string was, when you needed, it plus it was easy to access , When you hung a pair of scissors next to it, (and you always needed a good ball of string on the farm or around the house, (although most people these days do not even own a ball of string😮…)😅

      if you want to use a time stamp use it this way 02:17 you jump right to the section you want. 😊. Of course after that will be insulated. It just illustrate HOW to make a joint with the cable, IMHO the length of the joint is not long enough.

    What's the chemical use to repair the glass

    • @attilaschannel5198
      @attilaschannel5198 21 день назад

      UV resin. You apply it in the shade and let the sunlight cure it for an hour or so. Let it set for a while and you can scrape the rest off from the glass. All those expensive repair kits are nothing but simple UV resin. You might want to put a barrier area on with some clear tape.

      Yes I d agree with you.
