@@jbrewerman2I truly think that judging a show by the pilot or after a few episodes is just dumb and ignorant. Everyone should watch a whole season and form opinions after that. Like imagine you judge Shutter Island but you only watched the first half lollll.
Agnes is definitely in on something, somehow. She’s always at the right place, at the right time. And that scene where she said something about being lost, Vision was like “at the town you grew up in?” Also the fact that she was still able to talk when the others can’t even give any response.
When Monica entered it sucked her in and she didn't fight it. When Vision left it was trying to suck him back in but he was fighting it. And Monica could only leave because Wanda released her.
Not exactly. The bubble is what keeps vision alive, thats why when he left the bubble, it started taking back all of his missing parts that were taken before by SWORD, and thats why he just falls down dead. Also Darcy said that Vision is decaying
@@flowr7068 I think decaying was being used more in the sense of something like uranium. Where they are tracking the half life signature of the vibranium. Not necessarily that Vision is decaying.
I agree but also think the red layer that Wanda put up last episode is why Vision couldn’t just walk out. I think he would have had to fight a suction of some level, but would have been able to get out (whether he would then drop dead or keep living I’m not sure) because of his strength. This way, he gets through the first barrier but the red one sucks him back with way more force, possibly also sucking in the helicopter on contact, since it’s drifting toward center when it gets inside, but pulling away when it enters.
This Halloween episode was amazing af! But it was too short! I loved the Malcolm in the Middle vibes. I believe Hayward stole Vision's body sometime after Infinity War and was going to weaponize him, but Wanda interfered and took Vision which resulted her to creating her sitcom reality. I still believe Agnes is aware of what's going on in Westview, because sort of funny how she was sitting in a running car at the edge of the hex barrier on Ellis AVE. Agnes tricked Vision into entering the hex barrier, antagonizing Wanda causing her to expand the hex bubble. And plus Agnes was the only one moving and talking in the frozen area of Westview. It seems like to me the reason why some of the Westview residents were not operating correctly because they wasn't near the power source which is Wanda, but the residents in town square were working fine that were near Wanda. Billy and Tommy( Wiccan and Speed) receiving their powers was lit af and Monica obviously has powers too. This episode gave me very Mephisto and Nightmare villain vibes. Poor Darcy but I can't wait to see her transformation! Wanda expanding the hex bubble might bring mutants to the MCU! Evan Peters Pietro could be Mephisto or Nightmare.
I dont understand how SWORD had Vision to begin with. He died i Wakanda. Theres absolutely no way Wakanda would just give up a Vibranium Synthezoid! Wakanda just doest give away Vibranium! Hes the property of Stark! Theres no way Stark industries would give away that type of technology. Hes an Avenger! I doubt Avengers would just give up a sentient being that has the potential of going full Ultron. SWORD should never had Visions body.
Agreed, it _seems_ like Wanda is generating an "influence field" that falls off with distance ("seems" because i'm still not 100% convinced it's _all_ her). When she's in the town square the people at the edges are basically inanimate NPCs beyond the "visible horizon" of the game engine. And as a physics fan, what she does at the end is astonishing - every metre the Westview boundary extends means the volume Wanda is "controlling" is that cubed times 4/3 Pi. No wonder she had to stop all the residents to gather her "juice". And as i've said elsewhere, _everything_ Agnes does (in every episode so far) makes things worse for Wanda and Vision. Hayward is the antagonist outside, Agnes is the enemy inside Westview (and they _may_ know each other IMO).
Darcy says: "The energy inside has rewritten your cells". The danish subtitles reads "The energy inside has *mutated* your cells". 🤔🤔 EDIT: Holy shit, thanks for the likes! Never got more than one like on a comment.
it feels more like a bad translation or bad adaptation of what she meant. maybe the danish person who translated that projected something he/she wanted in that translation. it's clearly not what they said in the original version.
So Pietro remembers being shot in the street and then Wanda Calling him so he came....and yet he knew that Vision died twice, which all happened after he died in age of ultron, so he wouldn't know that, and if he was x-men quicksilver from another universe he wouldn't know that either. So he's revealing there that he is someone else in disguise.
Either he's someone in disguise, or he's been pulled from the X-Men Universe and still only knows what Wanda has implanted into his mind. He seems pretty conscious but he still has a specific role that he brings up similar to how Vision has started doing.
“Details are fuzzy, man. One minute I was holding up the X-Men movies all by myself, next thing I know I was bought by Disney.” Edit: To those bringing up Jackman, Fassbender, and McAvoy, you’re not wrong to bring them up. However SPOILER Logan was killed off in his movie with Jackman leaving the role, meaning he wasn’t around to help hold up the franchise by the end. And while Fassbender and McAvoy are great... well... have you guys seen Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix? They’re just going through the motions in those. They’re probably the better actors in those, sure, but not even they could save those movies. Again none of you are wrong to bring them up, but to me Even Peters was the only one who was actually entertaining.
The way I understood the commercial is that it's a representation of the idea of "False hope". The boy was starving. The shark acts all happy and energetic exactly like Pietro in this episode, giving the boy a magic yogurt that is hope to save his life but it's a lie.
I just found out a little detail: when he first shows up, Evan Peters has XMan’s Quicksilver hairstyle, with the silver color and the old haircut, but at the start of this episode, before he wears his og costume, he has Aron TJ hairstyle, which is more of a white color with black roots and the same haircut he has in age of ultron.
Is no one else going to talk about how Mephisto in the comics basically wanted to snag Wanda’s children’s magic, and the commercial says snag yo magic.
It's actually the other way around - it's WANDA that steals slivers of Mephisto's soul (arguably his "magic") to create her twins (in their first incarnation, anyways.) SHE took advantage of HIM. The twins stop existing bc Mephisto just takes the pieces of his own soul back, not because he was trying to snag some sort of "magic" the twins innately had. Mephisto is evil/the devil/whatever, but it's Wanda who was the instigator and original thief in the comic.
The way this show has ramping up the awesomeness in each episode, I'm expecting something truly jaw dropping in the season finale and the penultimate episode.
It was exactly like the Rick and Morty episode when Jerry was in the simulation on low processing power when vision was walking around the outskirts of the town
12:22 Yep. In the comics Tommy has the same powers as Pietro & Billy has powers similar to Wanda, and they are known as Speed & Wiccan & are members of the Young Avengers. Both of their costumes are even references to their comic costumes, but in the comics Tommy’s costume was green instead of blue.
With the reveal that the people in the village have their molecules altered, and Wanda and Pietro being from the X-Men universe, could the residents of Westview be the first MCU mutants? Just a thought...
Is it definitely altering their molecules, or did Darcy presume this, because of Monica's molecular differences? Did they exist before she went into Westview? She didn't want her blood taken
She said Monica had, not necessarily all the people. Let's remember, only Monica crossed the barrier twice, the people were presumably already inside when the Hex was created so there was no shock of passing through it.
When Billy talks to the audience about his parents acting weird while playing video games with Tommy and Pietro, you can see Pietro quickly glance at him, which further proves he has more awareness than most people in Westview.
That dead Pietro scared me 10x more than the dead vision. My heart jumped and I winced, scared out of my mind. For Vision I was just surprised but still scared.
Cataract, because it's a *vision* impairment. They're tracking Vision. They were experimenting with his body. They have plans for him specifically, and Wanda is just an obstacle to them, or at least to Hayward.
Wanda is really powerful and can shoot energy blasts. Wanda can teleport things and levitate. Wanda can warp reality. Wanda can bring Vision back to life. Wanda can stop time and trap people in loops. Wanda can control people's minds and make them see things. Hmmm...
Why is no one talking about when Monica is talking the guy over head shield says "This nightmare needs to end" maybe just a small nod or something even more lol
With how much Hayward dislikes super powered people (mirroring baron zeemo’s beliefs in the new falcon trailer) and the studying of visions corpse, plus the new direction he’s taking SWORD with robotics an ai that he explained in episode 4, I think SWORD is building sentinels.
The magic snack thing called “The snack for survivors” might be a reference to the fact that strucker said that Wanda and pietro were the only survivors of their experiments, and that they have magic. Or maybe I’m insane

The thing is there is technically a connection to the fox character because he keeps calling himself uncle Pete and fox Quicksilver was named Peter not Piatro.
Everyone wanting Monica's contact to be someone from the Fantastic four. I want it to be Blue Marvel, a great back door introduction for him and their relationship in the comics.
"What if Agnes was all an act?" "Well, why was she in that car?" Because Agnes is always there with something they need to solve their problems This time, it was existential dread.
When Aaron saw the Yo-Magic commercial with the starving kid and then theorized that the motionless people on the edge of town were starving my mind exploded... it's totally a possibility, and could be a contributing factor to the lady hanging the ghost up with the tear rolling down her cheek... very clever thinking!
Agnes was definitely acting the part of a victim. Wanda's kids are based on her kids from the comics so they have powers, Billy has similar powers to his mother and Tommy has super speed like his uncle.
I think if Wanda didn't hex the barrier and turn it red Vision would have been able to walk out as easily as she did. But once she realized Haywood was there, she hexed the barrier to prevent Haywood from getting his hands on Vision again. Unfortunately, this means that if Vision resists being pulled back in like he did in episode 6, he gets torn apart. however if he simply let the barrier pull him back, i think he would be fine. if that's the case, he could at least stick his head through without falling apart. Ultimately it's a fail-safe that prevents Haywood from getting his hands on a single piece of Vision.
I think the commercial is survivor's guilt. It's most likely about her magic (Yo-Magic = "Your Magic") not being able to save the day in Infinity War but it could also be a clue about other subjects dying during the Hydra experimentation (possibly because they didn't have the X-Gene like Wanda and Pietro)
I do think, in the previous episode, Wanda said specifically that you shouldn't/couldn't age up or bring people back from the dead, even if you want to, specifically because Vision walked up at that moment. She wouldn't want Vision to get any clues as to the fact that he also died, though this episode made it clear for him
The way 'Pietro' is fully aware of what's going on and also trying to gather information on Wanda seems like he might be an agent of some sort. Maybe somebody other than SWORD has noticed and sent him to gather information? Maybe even the TVA (Time Variance Authority) that is going to be the main focus of the upcoming Loki series.
Fun fact that Aaron might appreciate: Billy is played by Julian Hilliard, the boy who played young Luke in The Haunting of Hill House. It’s funny how he plays a twin in both shows.
Ooo, good catch on 'Pietro' saying he didn't know anything but then knowing that Vision died and other stuff. BTW, I think my fav part of watch yours and others reactions to these episodes are the outraged screams when the episodes suddenly end. I hope the people out there aren't starving, but maybe. My thought is that her trauma about being empowered which was how she survived being an orphan, the kid on the island died because he couldn't open the magic up.
That's an interesting point. Everybody's counting on WandaVision to bring the multiverse into play for Dr. Strange, but the Loki series is coming out soon as well and seems more likely to cover information about the multiverse.
Yeah, I hope no multiverse is involved here. Pietro already looks to be just a fake, perhaps Mephisto pretending to be ressurected brother or something and using this tv reality as a recast excuse. This should be more closed in - personal story. Doctor Strange should go into multiverse, but this should be focused on Wanda I feel.
@@jamesminett9717 Except he said nothing about the multiverse. People just assume that's the reason for her being in the movie based solely on the title
The only reactors who recognized the canned 'child laughter' that shows up in shows and movies like the Wilhelm scream. And great explanation of the commercial.. especially giving gravity to Vision's cry for the people he just observed needing to be saved. I mean.. how horrible.
Wanda doesn't have the processing power to control that many people. But also who's to say it's not nightmare that's actually controlling it all. What if quicksilver is a scrull. Is Monica's guy she's meeting up with is Talos....hmmmm or Dr Strange
From the in-the-know future, so many people missed the recasting of Pietro was just a sitcom joke about how characters are recast with no mention in the show like the husband in Bewitched and the daughter in Roseanne. Read so much into what was a sitcom meta joke.
To your point around the 22:00 mark, I think it might not be to a huge extent, but they are making some small meta details that elude to this. For example, when Monica was thrown out of Westview, she went through 4 different rooms before reaching outside, bringing to mind "breaking the 4th wall."
this episode was truly amazing. my favorite line was when pietro...we will call him "quicksilver" for now..but he is def a demon....he said "Unleash hell, demon spawn"...def letting us know this is much darker than it appears...and it appears pretty f*ckin dark.
I'm like 95 percent certain at this point that that's not Pietro. He gives off villain vibes to me. He knows what's going on. He's been dodging Wanda's personal childhood questions. The one he brought up himself, she didn't remember it like that. He's VERY inquisitive about her powers and how she did this. Then the line about her 'dead husband' at the end. Yeah, I just doubt it. I feel like casting Evan Peter's was just a fun thing and a misdirect. Also there's 100% more up with Agnes, but I'm not convinced at all that she's a villain. Maybe a SWORD Agent. Or she could still have powers of her own, but it doesn't mean she's a villain.
I'm the other way around, this episode convinced me Agnes is evil. Pietro, on the other hand, is likely her means of probing to figure out why Wanda's suddenly so powerful. It might be mutant Pietro under the sit-com personality but, I think Agnes is the one asking those probing questions.
I think Agnes is the person in witness protection that Woo was going for when he discovered the barrier. I think she has some kind of power that allows her some consciousness inside but I don't think she's evil
@@mulv3410 If she was the person in witness protection surely they'd have mentioned as such when they were identifying everybody? Agnes has become one of the most frequently appearing characters in the show, it wouldn't make sense to assume they haven't identified her yet.

He mentions getting shot, but he also says 'for no reason' like he's skirting around what actually happened/specifics. Also, Pietro died before Vision did, so he wouldn't know he was ever dead. He also says he finds nothing wrong with what Wanda did, even though it's obvious Wanda is morally questioning herself. He's just impressed by her powers - seems very villain-y to me. But hey, who knows, I might be wrong and the lack of memory is because he's actually Fox Quicksilver. But there's a lot more than just his memories that make me feel otherwise.

Totally on board with the Loki/Asgardian angle. It popped up in the back of my head last episode, given that "Pietro" seems to have come in from outside of the Hex, and then got firmed up with his conversation this episode.
It could simply be that Pietro is being forced to play the role of the character (rambunctious annoying uncle) and trying to fight it. Asking questions he’s getting from Wanda.

Agnes is definitely in on something, somehow. She’s always at the right place, at the right time. And that scene where she said something about being lost, Vision was like “at the town you grew up in?” Also the fact that she was still able to talk when the others can’t even give any response.
And the fact that she just turned around and left when everybody else that far out was frozen.
Brian Burkhardt Yes I agree
Evan Peters Pietro could be Mephisto or Nightmare.
sounds like a good theory 🤔🤔
@TGDM Show oh wow i'm sorry to hear that, but now you got a mission: you have to carry the burden and make sure no one gets spoiled like you did
I dont understand how SWORD had Vision to begin with.
@TGDM Show could u give me a link to it, I would like to know who it is
I don't think anyone has mentioned Agnes' purposefully bad acting when Vision talked to her.
Darcy says: "The energy inside has rewritten your cells". The danish subtitles reads "The energy inside has *mutated* your cells". 🤔🤔

So what if she expands the hex throughout the world and that’s how mutants comes into play?
@@brandonchris9724 that’s what I think. I think some of the people that go into the barrier will become mutants

Is no one else going to talk about how Mephisto in the comics basically wanted to snag Wanda’s children’s magic, and the commercial says snag yo magic.
Meh
It's actually the other way around - it's WANDA that steals slivers of Mephisto's soul (arguably his "magic") to create her twins (in their first incarnation, anyways.) SHE took advantage of HIM. The twins stop existing bc Mephisto just takes the pieces of his own soul back, not because he was trying to snag some sort of "magic" the twins innately had.
Mephisto is evil/the devil/whatever, but it's Wanda who was the instigator and original thief in the comic.

*Fan:* It’s a person from Westview made to be Quicksilver since she can’t bring him back from the dead

I do think, in the previous episode, Wanda said specifically that you shouldn't/couldn't age up or bring people back from the dead, even if you want to, specifically because Vision walked up at that moment. She wouldn't want Vision to get any clues as to the fact that he also died, though this episode made it clear for him
I really love how Wanda called SWORD a bunch of clowns
The way 'Pietro' is fully aware of what's going on and also trying to gather information on Wanda seems like he might be an agent of some sort. All their Halloween outfits are their comic costumes pretty cool, Also the kids in the comics one has quicksilver powers the other has wandas

Also regarding 'Pietro' his knowledge is all over the place.

Ikr
Alot of people know what malcom in the middle is , even younger people saw it becauae reruns on TV.
@@greenkidd529 it’s not specifically young people it’s people reacting to it of all ages where it doesn’t click immediately. It’s unmistakably Malcolm and the middle and just Malcolm in the middle... which is wierd cause the other episode referenced other shows more distinctly
@@mysticstrikeforce5957 I can see how it can remind people of neds but I think this was oddly very specifically Malcolm
I like how there was a movie reference to "Cable Guy", when the brother says "Ohh Billy..." to Wiccan after he used his power for the first time. Especially when this show is very "Truman" in a Pleasantville sort of way.
You're right, If one minute he's getting shot on the street, and the next minute he's heading her calling him back, than he wouldn't have known Vision died.
Maybe that's how she finally figured out here was lying to her.
Totally on board with the Loki/Asgardian angle. It popped up in the back of my head last episode, given that "Pietro" seems to have come in from outside of the Hex, and then got firmed up with his conversation this episode.
That's definitely not Quicksilver. Something is off about him. No, everything is off about him.
It could simply be that Pietro is being forced to play the role of the character (rambunctious annoying uncle) and trying to fight it. Asking questions he’s getting from Wanda.
@@ZealStarMedia either way. The consciousness controlling that body is not Pietro
@@ZealStarMedia even if it's like that, no says to their sister about their dead husband and joking about it, which is a dead giveaway. also the part about giving her grief
@@Ezra-wp1oc
But that’s totally in character for the role, the problem is that the information he’s using to make jokes is Wandas information.
Remember Wanda didn’t bring him here, at least not purposefully, she’s trying to fill in the gaps in his head with what she’s knows.
@@ZealStarMedia If Wanda is filling his head with thoughts...Why would he ask where the kids were hiding? He knew everything shes doing...There is no way she put thoughts into his head if he is so sus....Plus with his affection for the kids and "devil" puns are a dead giveaway.....Evan Peters is Mephisto
That shot of Vision walking the neighborhoods around the edge of Wandas Hex and that woman hanging the ghost repeatedly while a conscious tear is falling down her cheek was truly frightening. Sad to say I think Evan Peters Quicksilver is literally just a mis-remembered version of him from Wandas confused mind in her sitcom reality world. Was hoping (maybe it still will) for that to be the tie in to the newly owned Fox properties. It’s cool Eric remembers Malcolm in the Middle- great show!!
"Pietro Maximoff as himself", lol. Didn't even catch that at first, that confirms he's a different timeline one.
I think it's more suggesting that Pietro isn't playing a character, he's just himself in this world which is why he knows and addresses how manufactured it is. Like he's not playing "Pietro the Character" he's just Pietro also in this situation.
@@AudoPlay i see what you're saying, but I took it as "xmen pietro maximoff as mcu pietro maximoff" because often when stuff like this is in actual tv shows, the people still play a character
None of the secondary characters are credited as their real names, they had to identify them using their faces and government files.
I think in the B&W end credits they are just named, not actor X as Y.
So pretty much Norm as himself, Agnes as herself even though they are fake names.
@@SergioLeRoux that was different though imo
@@littleroot maybe, but we can't read too much into it. The show credits lie, so they don't really prove stuff.
OK, hold the phone... what if the engineer is , wait for it, SHURI, who also had the replica of Visions' mind from mapping the mind stone in Infinity Wars?
wandavision- mystery
falcon and winter soldier-action
loki-adventure
Watching just Eric and Aaron react to something takes me back the Agent of Shield days. Man I miss that show ❤️
Monica's "guy" has to be someone important, there has been so much mystery in the last 2 episodes.
This is the episode they went 1990's sitcom. They are visiting all the decades one after the other is how sitcoms have changed over the years.
Also! Jimmy Woo secret FBI badass! That was awesome.
