That is sunlight coming in your window correct? I would think that resin storage in a clear glass jar would be OK as long as no Uv light gets to it. I tested the LED replacement bulbs that are in my once fluorescent basement shop lights by putting some resin in a plastic lid and let it sit on my workbench for well over a month and the LED shop lights did not affect the resin sample.
We have since switched our printer setup to a low light environment. We have found that any light can affect the resin in both cured and un-cured states but you are correct that UV light is the main issue.
When we purchased the product it didn't come with instructions so we were relying on past knowledge and google. The monocure 3D website now has an 11 colour .pdf chart. I'm sure with a little patience and googling you can create whatever you want as long as its an actually mixed colour and not something manufactured as is (Obvious Example: Neons)
This does no worked for me. :( tested on white trying to do solid red, and only got a pink “mousse” like yogurt color. Pastel pink. Added lots of drops, on 100ml
Our Mauve Red worked as we mixed in portions of all four colours. Not sure if Red Red will work on a white base, you might try mixing in a drop or two of yellow.
Finally showing this using white !! Thanks !

What website was that ? Thats exactly what I've been looking for, for hours
Monocure
I think we can use red Folger's coffee cans to keep our resin in. It is the same type of plastic (HPDE) but I have not tested it long term yet.
So explain percentages. When it says percentages, percentage in relation to what amount? Is it more of a ratio of color drops?
Using CMYK colors is a great idea. Did you have to change your cure time settings at all after adding the dye?
No we didn't change the cure time from what was on the bottle of the base colour.
wouldnt the percentage be in relation to itself? so if 10 drops is 100% you can add 5 drops to reach 50%?
For the base white resin could you use any white resin or does it have to be the monocure one?
We are honestly not that happy with the Monocure White at the moment. We have not tried it with another resin brand but we suspect it would be fine.
Very cool! My SL1 just arrived today, itching to give it a workout!
You mention a clear UV Spray - what are you using? Thank you!

Wonder if you could do this with any alcohol dyes? I just use them to colour my normal resin are these dyes alcohol based?
Idk you have to email the company to get a safety data sheet so I’m not sure of the components.
How often have you exchanged the IPA since the beginning? I love how it turned out. I will have to try that too.
we've only changed the alcohol once so far.
Clear Mind Jewellery Wow, that’s really not much as I guess you are printing a lot lately.
The bottles are available through Amazon.
What is the website you used for the color formulation?
We just used a regular CMYK colour calculator and based our input off the percentages.
What was the brand of UV spray you mentioned at the end of your video?

Clear Mind Jewellery thanks!
what are the limits to the color options you can make with that kit?

@@ClearMindJewellery ok cool. Thinking of getting one of these.
Anyone knows if i soak the resin mix with dye in acetone, will the dye vanish?
