I did it 2 years ago with a group of German ww2 veterans. I went on a roadtrip through Germany and i stopped in a small village near Rotenburg and i entered the towns tavern which was full of German ww2 veterans and i joined them with singing German war time marches. Crazy or not, this was one of the best things i’ve ever experienced
I just can't get over how catchy this song is, its such a fun song and a good song for the German soldiers, this song made me smile in tough times and i'm sure it did the same for German soldiers.
It's kind of the same with America and the civil war. They're trying to destroy anything relating to the Confederacy whether it is a statue of general lee to the flag itself. Honestly no one should be forced to forget where they came from and the history behind ones people. It's what make each culture have its quirks. And you should be proud where you came from regardless of the past.
