      Hi Mark
      The weather does improve as the series continues, as does the scenery. I’ve tried to include more about the accommodation in the upcoming videos.
      The adventure and misery continues but I keep positive and smiling through adversity 🏍️🇮🇪😁👍

    Good morning Ian,
    another morning with good entertainment 😊. What a lovely journey! Well, the weather could be much better and I feel quite sorry for you, that you hit some kind of a "wet roads" 🌧 but it's the attitude that counts, isn't it?
    Again, thank you so much for this new episode and I'm looking very much forward to see the next story!
    Best regards

      @@tigerness5555 hi. No i ride a Classic 350. Or at least i will when i pass my test on Friday. I am calling my youtube channel Tiger Rose Rides because i am a veteran and my main regiment was the Royal Hampshire Regiment. I have taken the two main aspects of the cap badge, the Tiger and the rose. I also also make electric guitars as a hobby and the page is called Tiger Rose Guitars

    I look forward to your entertaining and honest vlogs, Ian. You can look at the dreich weather as 'character building'. 🤣🤣 Shame that your 2nd night lodgings weren't great, but it adds a bit of a twist to the journey. The scenery in your video still looked great considering the weather. I can't get over the condition of the roads in all your videos so far. they're fantastic. Ride safe. 🏍

      The story and the misery continues into the next episode, yes you’re correct, it is character building 🤣. But stay with the series there is a happy ending 😁
      Plenty of amazing scenery to come on brilliant roads 😁

    I once was in the lobby of a Motel 6 and noticed a picture with the words- " they all look the same with the lights out ". Lol. At least you warmed up some and had restaurant meals. I always think positive. Camping would have made it miserably worse. Better luck on the next days journey. 🤞🤞🤞

    Ah the joys of touring in the rain 😂 thank goodness for decent waterproof’s and a heated vest 😂 bet you were glad you were on the wee bike not the tiger when you had to turn around in that little lane 😂 all the best buddy 👍

      Hi Mike
      Yes decent gear makes all the difference, still prefer dry roads and sunshine though 🤣
      With the Tiger I would have had the added advantage of heated seat and grips 🥵
      More misery coming up in the next video for you to enjoy 😁👍

    Ian, the Doolough pass is a beautiful ride but has a sad and tragic history to it, a very hunting place, please look up the history of the place, well worth the time and effort

      Hi, thanks for the info, I looked into it.
      The tragedy of the famine walk was indeed so terrible. Man’s inhumanity to man still continues today when you look at the terrible events around the world.
      Such a shame that it doesn’t have to be this way.

    Thanks for the video. Do you find the screen makes any difference to the riding experience? Just got myself a Classic 350 and dreaming about touring but not sure what it would be like after a long day

    • @tigerness5555
      @tigerness5555  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Michael
      Great to hear that you enjoyed the video 👍
      I’ve now done 9,000 miles on my bike with many long touring days. My experience of the screen is mixed. I like running in good weather without the screen as the airflow is clean and the ride enjoyable.
      But for longer runs I nearly always have the screen on. It does make the ride a bit noisier but it also gives protection from the wind and rain.
      I’ve probably done 8,000 miles with the screen and 1,000 miles without it.
      It’s easy to take on and off, as are many parts on this bike.
      It’s a great wee bike to tour with, I’m sure you’re going to love it 🏍️😁

    Who makes you saddlebag mounts?

    • @tigerness5555
      @tigerness5555  5 месяцев назад

      Great to hear that you’re enjoying the channel 👍
      As for the pannier mounts used on this trip, there a combination of parts. The panniers are Givi items from my Triumph Tiger 900. As Givi do not make a pannier fitting kit for this bike I had to make my own. Full details of how I did this can be found in two of my earlier videos, see links to them below.
      Hope this helps. Cheers T.N.
