As someone who hates scary things and will never step foot in a haunt, I love watching these kinds of videos as they quench my curiosity about their inner workings without having to put myself into a high stress /anxiety situation. Love all your haunt walk-throughs during the spooky season!
Totally agree!
But it's fun to feel terror everyonce in a while get you blood pumping maybe take a friend or boyfriend
Same, im quite sensitive to panic attacks and anxiety and it prevents me from doing fun stuff like haunts or dark rides, but i love these videos
It's so great to see the artistic creativity that goes into haunts by the light of day. As amazing as they are in the dark with the lights and sounds, you miss so much of that.
IM 2 MINUTES DOWN THE STREET FROM THERE!! Same company owns haunted school house and haunted laboratory about 30 min up the road in akron!! This is my favorite series on RUclips! Haunted houses are my fav events of the year!!
This guy seems so mature about his haunt. I like it! These haunt owners I’ve seen lately have been beyond sweet and polite
I am really enjoying this “behind the scenes”series. Thank you to the haunt owner for allowing access so that we can see it and plan our own trips to Ohio to see it for ourselves!
is this sarcassic or wha bruh
Being from Ohio around that area and having an old friend that works at the Factory of Fear this is probably my favorite episode so far. Great job
This place has a real "personal" feel to it, if you know what I mean. You can tell the owner enjoys what he does, and is proud of his work, and rightly so! Love it!
I live in Texas and work at The Cutting Edge haunted house hearing him mention us made me happy😊😁 I also love how they use the buildings original equipment as prop pieces. Same with Cutting Edge being run out of an ald abandon meat packing plant we also utilize alot of the original equipment as prop pieces! It's crazy to see just how similar haunts are but how different they are at the same time.
I love the bar concept! I get scared really easily, so a drink or 3 throughout the night would certainly help. 😂
Watching from the UK, you guys in the States are the best at this stuff. Loved it 🎉😱👌🏻
I sure wish there were some great haunts here in Canada. Watching these videos makes me think I need to take matters into my own claws and start The Great Canadian Haunt. There is real beauty in horror and many of these videos show that off perfectly.
Thanks Grimm life collective Love these behind the scenes vids💀💀👻👻🎃🎃🔥🔥😎😎
The amount of photoshoots you can make in this place is outstanding 🤯
I love seeing all the creativity. These places are works of art. 🖤
I was just there on Saturday!! I'm in the Akron area and the Factory of Terror and the Schoolhouse & Laboratory are my two favorite haunts. Definitely worth the price with either of them.
Damn I wish I knew you guys were here I live in Canton lol
Your videos are making it it hard to choose what HauNT to go to.... SO hard to make a decision!... I LOVE haUNTS that are built in repurposed buildings--- gives another good reason to practice sustainability. INCREDIBLE scene art to set the stage, as well----- keep up the great work on the HaunT tour, GriMMs, and of course, Happy Halloween..... :^)"""""""""
Totally agree, I just can never find anyone to go with me, they get scared to easily..
You two have gone all out this year!! So awesome to see behind the scenes then when it's in motion. Safe travels and stay blessed Fam
What a great and another Halloween video from my favourite Halloweeny RUclipsr the Grimm life collective happy Halloween everyone 🎃♥️
These behind the scene haunt videos have been my favorite BY FAR! Sooo cool learning about this kinda stuff
I got to say you guys have the best hobby in the world in my opinion. To be able to experience so many haunts and seeing the craftsmanship that's put into them that you don't always notice when you're going through a haunt. I truly envy you.
🇬🇧🦋so much want to come to USA brilliant haunts , thank you both for taking us along ,Jessica always makes us smile when she hugs the monsters x take care keep safe happy Halloween 🎃😈👻🤡⚗️⚰️🪦🦋🇬🇧xxx
Loving the behind the scenes of the all the attractions, wish we had these Haunts in Australia 🖤🖤
Hell yeah this is my home town! I used to work at this haunt it was a lot of fun.
That’s awesome that you guys chose to visit the Factory of Terror. The place is allegedly haunted as well.
You where so lucky to work there, I've always wanted to be a scare actor..
As a gardener, that greenhouse is my freaking dream! Thanks you two! 💝
Same lol
@@Regina0964 you know it my dirt loving friend! ☺
@@artmakerforever3510 love the dirt and yes dirt loving Friend for sure..
I've been going through a really rough time in my life and your videos have been helping me keep calm and avoid panic attacks. I just wanna say thank you for being amazing humans and creating this channel 😭🧡🖤
It's heartbreaking how a lot of us are struggling it's important to stay motivated and truly find what motivates you. As Michael, would say, fingers and bones crossed.
As someone who also has panic attacks, I feel ya 🖤
🖤💜
Happy Halloween #Bewarethautumnpeople
I love how we can see the work that went into this place. I think of it more as an art museum than a fright house. I want the mighty Cthulhu, too!
I enjoyed this a lot! Thank you, owners!
I love ‘behind the scene’ stuff. I love the artistry, the sets & designs. Also, I always eye 👁for my at home ideas I can tweak & implement 😅. So much to take in! I can only imagine the scenery when white lights are off & mood lights are on.
I loved every drinking area! I’d love a faux greenhouse inside! I loved the last ship where the storm noises & colors rage as if caught at sea! Fake sea portals….so fun.
Thanks!
PS: I want a huge huge steel barn to keep all my crafting of stuff with room to work on projects & not mess up the house & take away from living space. Their work area look so spacious. 💕
I love these daytime walk thru vids. Then when you return for the night stuff and with everything running its a whole new adventure! =) Kudos my friends!!!! Great Job as Always!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN MICHAEL AND JESSICA
We mask our faces and wear strange hats, and moan like witches and screech like cats, and jump like goblins and thump like elves, and almost manage to scare ourselves! 👻🎃👻🎃👻🎃👻🎃👻🎃👻🎃👻
I’ve never been this early for a video! Keep it up you guys!🎃🎃
How cool is this?! I live about 20 minutes from FoT, so it was awesome to see this video. About 10 years ago, I got a chance to tour it during the day. I took my daughter up to apply for a job as a makeup artist. Both my son and daughter had friends that worked there and my son set it up so that I could have a tour while my daughter was showing her talents. That is the only time I have ever gotten to see a haunt during off hours.
I am very impressed with how much they've grown in 10 years! They actually own a large haunt in Akron that is also really great. It was called Thomastown Haunted Schoolhouse when I was a kid (a long time ago). I would love to see what they've done with that!
Thank you so much for sharing this adventure!
I love this series so much!!! I can’t thank you guys enough for showing us these lights on haunt tours. I’m a sucker for details and this way we can see them !! Also adore Jessica’s hoodie, where is that from? Happy Halloween 🎃
This place is amazing, they have built up quite a really haunted season to kick off the Halloween time of year. Wow, well done
Omg, Jessica's face when she sees Cthulu animate was EVERYTHING!!!!! Love you Jessica!!!
These two people seem like the nicest people ever. Lots of fun watching how excited you guys get every time you see a new haunt. It’s addictive!
Keep these coming!!! 🖤🖤🖤🖤
Another amazing vlog! Ty. We sure do appreciate you Mike & Jessica.....always a blast! Luv&Peace, Cheers!
Wow this place is amazing! i love the themed bars they look super fun :) the pirate ship and green house is like Rainforest cafe with the random thunderstorm ^^ that's pretty neat, like i said in the other videos i would so love to be a scare actor here! so fricking fun... Cant Wait to see Where you go next on this Haunted House Road Trip
That would be so awesome for the working bar and everything to be opened all year, not sure if it is already, but would be awesome
I am absolutely loving these behind the scenes videos. As someone who has worked in theater, this kind of stuff fascinates me. Props, sets and makeup are the core of these houses. So cool!!
Every Halloween I look forward to seeing the GrimLifeCollective visiting all the cool horror attractions! Love all of them, but the ones at Salem and New England create such a Nostalgia, because that's where I'm from. Great jobs guys!
I'm from Massachusetts :)
Hi Y’all! I absolutely love this series (especially as a haunt actor like myself) and would love to see more from all the states. Like netherworld in Georgia and madworld in SC and nightmare dungeons in SC
Thank you from a country that doesn't celebrate Halloween much at all, luv everything about Halloween
this kind of stuff is so cool
yalls energy is just amazing
I adore you two. And am obsessed with this channel. So happy I found it 🎃🎃🥰🥰
SO GOOD THANKS SO MUCH GUYS!
Omg you was in Canton I wish I knew. I'd love to meet you guys! I've followed your work for years! This is exciting!
Despite my mental issues with anxiety... this is the first one I feel I could go to! Liquid courage combined with the break after each haunt to bond with strangers makes it worth it! And the merch, OMG.
Hey Michael and Jessica! I absolutely love your Haunted House videos! Have you ever thought about adding B-Roll of the drive to your destination or maybe some footage of you talking about where you are going to be heading next or something and maybe some B-roll of stops along the way? If you are driving of course. I only say this because when we travel to investigate we love stopping and discovering different hole in the wall places, unique spooky places and checking out truck stops and what not. Just a thought, I mean your videos are amazing and they are your videos and I am just some random stranger lol. Keep doing what your doing you both! I will never stop watching you channel no matter what. I have been meaning to ask you as well. What has been your favorite haunted house from the 21' to 22' season?
The Preservation Hall facade totally captures the original. :) Cute!!!
You guys should have your own show.
"Tonight, on Grimm Life's Haunted Adventures..."
20:22 Love the "Back to the future" reference on the electrical panel!
We just bought our tickets for October 30 because it’s our anniversary. We got engaged at the factory of terror a couple of years ago on October 30 we’ve made it a tradition to go every year since! The VIP is so worth it also they have a Christmas version of this in December is usually a lot fewer people.
I'm really enjoying all these behind the scenes of these haunted houses. I haven't been in one in ages but just seeing you two go through them makes me want to do it. The architecture and everything in these haunted houses is amazing. Thank you for doing this for us
Thanks Grimmlife for having us be shipfaced!!! ☠️another amazing video!!!! Love these haunts!! Im glad I can experience these through your tours! You really need a tv channel!!🎃🙏🏽🐈⬛🌹
Another fabulous haunt Michael and Jessica. Lovin this month of videos,., continued safe travels to you both.😄💀👻👽
Just went to the Factory of Terror this weekend and it was a lot of fun. I am a little surprised at how much I enjoyed the bar areas. It was nice to take a break from the haunt you just went through before you headed to the next. The vibes were high, Especially at this bourbon st area. Fun music, lights, dynamic seating, psychic readings, and everyone making friends over shared experiences. It was a good time!
I work there and a long time fan of your videos! Thanks for coming by and showing people what we have to offer! Can't wait for you guys to come back so I can give you guys a good fright!!!
Yes another video! Lol I get a little bummed out when the day goes by without a new video to watch. Love the videos. Happy Halloween 🎃
love the "behind the scenes" you've been bringing us along on!! so fun! Also it's real cool to learn about different back stories, fun stories, traditions, and memories everyone shares.
You guys have been releasing great content lately! keep up the good work!
Been stuck at home w/surgery struggling with getting better just wanted to let you both know how much your videos have help me entertaining distractions

Perfect timing just started my diner!!! 👻🎃😘
WOW! I'm only 22 the minutes into video and had to pause to say, The artistry and details are excellent. Now back to the video.... Happy Halloween! 🦇

This is such a great behind the scenes series, thank you guy`s for taking me along. 🎃🎃❤ 🙏🙏
1 second into video I hit the like. I'm never let down. Loving the halloween haunted house videos. I have 1 question. Will you do a scene location video for the new Haloween Ends movie. It was filmed around the savannah area. I live near statesboro
I am really sorry that all the years we lived in Dutchess County, we never went to Headless Horseman, which the bridge in Ulster County. I loved the mother and daughter that worked the haunt! Missed my opportunity big time! Thanks , Michael and Jessica for once again taking us along!
While you're in the area, you've got to check out their sister haunt - the Haunted Schoolhouse & Laboratory in Akron. Newly refurbished scenes within the last two years!
Love this series! great work, very entertaining! Keep it up and don't get burned out from all the haunts!
Yay!! Another Ohio haunt!! You should check out the Lewisburg Haunted Cave in Lewisburg, Ohio. It's located 80 feet below ground in a limestone cave. It's supposedly the world's longest haunt.
That sounds awesome as H E LL
I love how passionate and sweet every haunt owner you guys covered up until now is! You can really see they love their job, and the one from this video is sooo charismatic. My favorite RUclips series! Keep up the good work!

Place was bigger than expected -- great stuff, even during the day with full lighting. The bars were a great touch!

And another amazing video! I love y'all's vids. Keep it up I always look forward twords the next one ❤️
The room with all the cats meowing reminds me of that scene in Jeepers Creepers when they stop at the old lady's house for help
Thanks you guys for these behind the scenes videos. I'm really enjoying this series. Travel safe, and Happy Halloween 🎃
I love your channel, especially this time of year!!!
Wow The Abyss was AMAZING !!! So well done!! The pirate bar was sooo dope with all the effects like it changing with the weather and the ghost pirate the portholes! Just soooo cool and I realllyyy loved the lazer maze!

Like the fact he incorporated old existing objects and machines and added them to the haunt
That place is massive wow all the work that went into this haunt is amazing. Thank you for such a awesome video!!
Nice! Your vids never fail to put a smile on my face :) Happy haunting ya'll!! \m/
First off, I am almost positive that I am your oldest fan as I turn 69 on Sat. Simply put, I just adore you two! You are respectful of each location, and most importantly, the people and places you take us to, and each other. I just LOVE that! I recently watched your Texas Killing Fields episode, and my first thought was "damn...if I'd known you were in Houston, I would have taken you out to dinner." I have ben in and out of Houston (living) for years, and remember the horror of The Killing Fields. After Houston, I lived inL.A. for over 20 years, and actually saw the original Cielo Drive "gate," as I lived in the area and had read Helter Skelter in college (totally freaked me out). I know I need to keep this short, but I wanted you both to know you are amazing! There's a creepy East Texas story (Mexia Texas-south of Dallas) that might interest you at some point. It's about the murder of a young woman, Eula Ausley, in 1922. A friend of mine's friend wrote a book about it, called Flames After Midnight, a haunting story of the murder and hanging of some local Black residents who had nothing to do with the murder, but hey...it was 1922, and the lynching of these men is supposed to have been the last lynching in Texas (an we all do a huge AMEN?) Anyway, the book is fascinating. Love you guys to bits.
I’ve been watching your videos every night.!!!
Thanks for another one .
👍

The Dwight wheel made me laugh! Amazing place though! Thank you, once again!
