Omg some of those props made me jump! This is the perfect place for Halloween!
I've never seen anything like this in my life. It's amazing how every bit of space is utilized , the rooms are so detailed and I'm just blown by all of it. The sounds, the jump scares, just all of it. I can only imagine how crazy it is with the actors there as well.
Michael and Jessica, please remember Frightland in Middletown Delaware! Also, I saw a post on a Dark Shadows site the other day. The guy was standing out in front of the mansion used in the original series with a GrimmLifeCollective T-Shirt on!

I've done 6 of the 9 escape games at 13th Gate, and they are no less than cinematic while in-play (clearly while not in-play, too). Friends and I have traveled twice from Houston to experience. "The Asylum" - the scarier room, shown here - has some of the most fun and ingenious puzzles we've tackled. The scares are tolerable alongside the puzzles, with minor startles, which is perfect.

When I first started working in haunts (1982), the most frustrating thing as a scare actor was the constant line of people snaking their way through. It was very difficult to get the scare you worked so hard to create when the people ten feet away only got to see the section of the line in front of them get the attention. I'm glad to see most modern haunts are handling crowd control better.

It's haunts like this that make me want to grow as a small home haunter, to a full fledged pro haunter. I have a tremendous amount of respect for pro haunts because they put blood, sweat and tears into their attractions. It's incredible to see how unique every haunt is. I love haunting because it allows me to be creative. This is the level of professionalism I want my haunts to have. Thank you guys again for bringing us along on your adventures!

On the other side of the spectrum I feel like that toward the Queen's vigil. (I'm from Michigan and hardcore Anglophile) I am avidly watching every video this past week and would take off work just for the funeral on Monday. But on this subject, Michigan has tons and tons of haunted attractions so I can at least get my haunting fixes. Hope you can get your spook on close to home!

I cant begin to Thank the two of you for doing this series. I now have a heart condition and cannot go into haunted houses anymore. For not wanting to trigger an Afib problem ever again. Or something worse. I have always loved haunted houses. This series you guy's are doing is great for someone like me with a heart condition and is giving us with heart problems a second chance to experience some haunted houses without the added/extra fright. Every set incredible. They had me at the arch rooms with the flickering candles. After that it was all delicious icing that got better and better and better. Astounding in every detail, even to the starry sky in Jack the Ripper's London! Can't think of enough adjectives to describe the beauty and artistry and love that make up this haunt. MAGNIFICENT.

If you guys want another haunt there is a house in South Carolina called Madworld Haunted Attraction. I will be going myself. Also if guys are up for it, a bridge in South Carolina called Poinset Bridge is also haunted, if you listen carefully, you will actually hear drums of Indians in the water. This bridge is NOT a haunted house/ attraction. It is actually haunted by Indians who, I assume lived there or lived close by and they passed. Like I said you will hear their drums in the water below the bridge. The only thing is, you guys won't have service. Again its up to y'all. But I recommend Madworld.
This place is so cool. It looks so creepy. The cabin part look like it’s straight out of the “mushroom head” video, especially the part with the book laying open on the desk. I own and manage a pro haunt and have traveled to haunts all over the country, including 13th Gate. This haunt sets the bar for the entire industry. The fact that their set design looks this amazing with the house lights turned on speaks volumes. This is a “must see” haunted attraction.
I’ve watched this several times and I have to say how stunned I am that they manage to do so much with so little. As someone who has horrendous panic attacks, I will never be able to walk through one of these places, so it warms my heart to see you guys showing off the amount of time and love these people put into their haunts. Thank you for sharing this with those of us who could never walk through on our own. ❤

Well I guess with me being a generational witch I fear nothing, especially someone that has grown up and a house that was not a normal house and also from someone that has abilities and can see certain things so I guess the only fear that I have is losing my children or grandchildren but other than that I fear nothing I have been to the 13th gate I would always stop there on my way to New Orleans I'm looking for one that will literally scare the pee out of me and I haven't found it yet but you guys did a wonderful job love you guys stay safe
