My mom died in 99 and we used to watch TV and comedy together. She would absolutely love how the Internet has brought so many new comedians so far. Laughter truly is the best medicine.
I'm listening to this through car speakers on a drive from Georgia USA. Apparently we sang the same songs in Sunday School as you Brits. It was genius work mate to bring it up and to get everybody singing and on the same page. I thank you for the memories and I sang a long in my car!
WOW THAT IS CRAZY!!!! I had a similar story with my best friend at college over one of the break times she shared that the only thing that was keeping her going was the hyms she used to sing in school and one of the songs was "give me oil in my lamp keep it burning". Then I shared the story at a seminar at Cause to live for this year the guy there shared about Jason manford and that's how I found this comedy thing and I absolutely loved listening to the video and the songs are just chefs' kiss!!!!
I wish I could be there!!! THE WHOLE ARENA SINGING GIVE ME OIL IN MY LAMP, SHINE JESUS SHINE AND SING HOSANNA IS A RARE OCCASION sadly!!!!!!!!!! WE NEED MORE CONTENT LIKE THIS IN THE WORLD WE LIVE IN NOW.

What a brilliant gig! I wish I'd been there. Thanks SO much for posting. "A two-el, a two-el" ha ha ha, had tears running down my face, sitting at home on my own rocking and crying laughing. Brilliant.
💀The thing is, I can still remember (wuth the exception of "This Little Light of Mine" which wasn't in the book) exactly what number each song was in Come and Praise! 💀
Quality gig! Just remember we are all cultural Christians wether you follow it or not it is our culture....we must protect it British people.....at least until 21.45!!!!! ....go sleep then protect it again tomorrow aye. Jason you're a 'normal' star.💪

I've been watching Jason Manford on RUclips for a couple of years, and I think I love him. What a funny, kind man. A rare thing in this world.
I absolutely loved this! My favorite of all Jason’s specials!! He is (easily) the most relatable comedian in the business 🥳🥳
Absolutely great Jason 🎉🎉🎉
I went to this gig, hilarious 😂😂

Absolutely brilliant gig, comedy and music is the only way to survive this harsh relentless world, having the crack is the only way forward 😅😂
usually too much crack doesn't end well
Amazing ending of the show, just brilliant!

Playing this on a loud speaker whilst painting the garage. After the ending rave the neighbours now think I have joined a religious cult.

Great show, man. 👍😆😆👏👏👏👏 🥰 from Georgia, USA!
I studied in a British school in Africa...this last bit took me right back! Laughed out loud throughout the set especially at the the Covid stuff❤
English school in Zambia assembly songs. Remembered each one. I am 60 living in Scandinavia.
Well done and pleasant. Relatively clean, which is refreshing and requires more intelligence and talent.
Relatively clean.....🙄 Get a life.
@@steve_and_lolas_hikes a lot of us are getting sick of every comedian being "narcotics whores and farts"
Soooo natural. Legend. ❤
I’ve lost count as to how many times I’ve watched this.

Just in case anyone was wondering, we sing those songs at school in Australia too.
I WAS wondering, as it happens.

Many countries worldwide instigate the school day with patriotic or religious songs.

I'm not born & bred in Britain but I knew the songs. School in Australia must have some similarities.
Part of the Empire.

How to make the everyday, mundane. Don't get it! I gave it 25 minutes.
I do t want to speack coow atoi
A total legend. You can tell he's being real, unlike most other UK comics who spend all their time on garbage panel shows as they have no talent.
Except the frog and bucket has no dance floor, no cask ale and no carpark
Hey, Jason does QI - which is not rubbish, admittedly.

U want it in German also ok..
Three years later and the irony is plain to see/hear! What a lot of b.locks it all was - hilarious!
I've NEVER heard of a man doing the bins, Is this an English thing? - honest question
Yes.
why the songs..... indoctrination 😂
3 years to finely hone his act, and it's crap.
Hilarious 😂
