Biswadeep Roy "Hinduism" and "Buddhism" are English words; in Sanskrit they are called "Sanatana Dharma" and "Buddha Dharma" respectively. They, along with Jain Dharma ("Jainism") and the Sikh tradition compose what are known as the "4 Dharmic Religions," though some include Zoroastrian practice on that list as well. They all have the same cosmological understanding of the universe, have the same ethical and moral values and differ only as to what the Atman/Alaya/Ek Ong Kar "is" or "isn't" (i.e. Whether it is fixed and unchanging or a constantly transforming flux) I'll be happy to give more information if you so desire.
Shafeekh vettara parakkal I think either you've read too much or too little. The Dharmic understanding is (depending on who you ask) either that the universe had no beginning, or that all you see around you is illusion. If you want evidence that the universe is a holographic illusion; talk to people like Einstein, Feynman, Leonard Susskind, Brian Greene, Michio Kaku etc..... As for the other - There is no evidence presented of a creation as nobody is suggesting that anything was created.

2:08 "it didn't create any tension or anything?"
I understand where that question came from. As such, somebody ought to inform the interviewer that Sikhism is based on the same philosophy as Buddhism, NOT the place from which tension would come.
Whether it is fixed and unchanging or a constantly transforming flux)
I'll be happy to give more information if you so desire.
Well Buddhism is derived from hindisum the founder was Hindu himself 😂😂😂
TikZ.- why is that funny?
Biswadeep Roy yeah typical story creation with out evidence
Shafeekh vettara parakkal I think either you've read too much or too little. The Dharmic understanding is (depending on who you ask) either that the universe had no beginning, or that all you see around you is illusion.
If you want evidence that the universe is a holographic illusion; talk to people like Einstein, Feynman, Leonard Susskind, Brian Greene, Michio Kaku etc.....
As for the other - There is no evidence presented of a creation as nobody is suggesting that anything was created.
I have no issue with this.
bang ding ow no one asked for yours either
Christiana Weber agreed hijabs tho.. no
Thank god he got your approval Christian. Who knows what he’d have done if you weren’t ok with it
Unless and until you start leading soldiers u may not.
Love for sikh people forever
Well done!
It is so great for me to have a Sikh friend in my life. Paramjit, You show me who they are not by words only but by action and kindness together.
I like your wisdom and insights.
Sikhs are one of the best chaps in the British army!
The sikhs fought under the British flag in WW 1
They fought alongside the British, Americans and French in WW 2
The chinese and pakistanis will flee at the sight of the turbaned warriors 💥💥💥
Arun Mathew pakistan also has sikh , correct me if im wrong
@@Clipsiconic yes but all are forcefully converted into Islam. They may have Punjabis but actual Sikhs just in numbers
@@ranjeethpai They are not, in Pakistan, they allow practice of all religion. Please do some research before saying something. Thank You and Have a nice day
No one beat them in this world... Sikh is born warriors.. They fight against enemies utill last breath.. They give up there life for country and feel proud..
The British were classy enough to REQUIRE a moustasche at one point.
It’s funny how moustaches are strictly forbidden in the Royal Navy but your allowed to grow a full beard.
Sikhs have lived with us fought with us and stood with us for over 125 years every seek deserves to have their facial hair and their turbines no matter what they are one of the most honorable and compassionate religions in the world please do right by them 🙏🏻✝️🇺🇸
If you serve for a decade I say you've earned your place to have religious exemption. Part of the development of soldiers and Marines is to strip away individual identities to create cohesion and adaptation to service branch culture. So I would say it should not be permitted upon boot camp. But once you've completed MOS school and have had some time in the fleet, I'd say you should be permitted to wear it.
The Sikhs are great people and they're not MUSLIM
Shave their beard please
Shave their pub hair too
@dave gahan Sikhs did not killed Mahatma Gandhi.
@dave gahanA hindu named Nathuram Godse killed Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (I will not call him mahatma as it means great soul, he was coward)
@dave gahan Gandi was murdered because he gave permission & sign to formation of Pakistan (One part of United india ) & We couldn't accept our Partition .
THIS IS WHAT AMERICA SHOULD STAND FOR, AND THE AMERICA I WILL ALWAYS BE PROUD OF!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💯💯 LAND OF THE FREE. HOME OF THE BEAVE.
Brave*
But sadly we live in a county with Trump, soooooo...
Pnoysneakerhead24 trump is an idiot... and Biden won’t do any better he will actually destroy America and make it communist
I am really proud to see this real Sikhs serve others lots of love my brother when the time comes your Indian brothers will fight alongside you🇮🇳🇮🇳
God he looks 100 times better in that😍❤️
Waheguru ji da khalsa, waheguru ji di fateh
Very very congratulation veerji it's a proud movement for every Indian that our men hold same position in foreign country as they hold in there own Land 🙏🙏🙏
I think the turban looks good on the soldier, brings out the intensity in his eyes.
I’m happy for the man. Good job brotha 👍🏼
The SIKH Regiment India
The SIKH Regiment is one of the highest decorated regiments of the Indian Army, with 72 Battle Honours, 15 Theatre Honours and 5 COAS Unit Citations besides 2 PVCs, 14 MVCs, 5 Kirti Chakras, 67 Vir Chakras and 1596 other gallantry awards
I remember I saw Sikh soldier in basic training years ago and was impressed and happy to see him wearing his head wear instead of a PC
The Sikhs along with the Gurkhas are by far some of the best soldiers in the world
That camo looks so cool on the turban
Im an American and christrain I appreciate your service to this great country and I applaud that you ought for your god given rights to religion freedom and you are a role model .
I'm okay with this, the British Imperials had the Raja soldiers in World War 1, and they looked almost the same and they fought just as good as the white British men.
Thank you for your service sir!
Sikhs are a highly respected noble warrior cast respected in almost every country in South Asia
I'm happy for the guy, but I'm just going to throw this out there.
He got leeway due to being an officer. It is much, much less likely you would see an enlisted get this privilege.
2:45
Waheguru ji ka KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH
Thats like telling a Christian they can’t wear a cross or anything that symbolizes their religion. their breaking his first amendment rights
Yeah he should have the right to wear his turban
Much love & respect for the Sikh believers 🙏🏻
A big difference between a girl that has proved nothing in the Military, compared to this Sikh Soldier who cut his turban without any issue understanding his low rank position at first. Then waited for the proper time to ask for a religious exemption when he was in the position to do so. That girl needs to give something to get something, especially in the U.S Military....
respect from somalia .my brothers and sisters and all sikh population around the world
I am Indian couldn’t be more proud Hindustan zindabad
Jagath Nambiar why ?
Actually Sikh turban doesn't look bad with that uniform
Actually, as much as I despise religion and all its ridiculousness, the turban looks pretty damned good.
Thanks to the Captain for his service! :-)
Sikhism isn’t a religion as much as it is a code of ethics and self care
Look at the Sikh regiment in the Indian army they are the pride of our country with the turban and beard they look majestic
Damn that army turban is so dope. I also want one
I love how the turban matches the colors and camo
Wish I could get a GI Joe SPECIAL edition of him! I felt extreme pride when he won his case.
He's so Handsome!!!!
If he is willing to give his life to protect the USofA I salute him.
aftr he died right
Denying him religious freedom was unconstitutional.
@@Carthodon I mean, religious freedom should be a given (as long as you're not some weird cannibalistic cult or something), there's not too much reason to take it away.
Wahe guru ji ka khalsa wahe guru ji ki fatehe
Good for him, I like it. Navy, Air Force, Army Veteran.
Sikhs fought in both world wars with beard and turban. You better respect their culture if you want to enlist the finest soldiers in the world.
He’s an American soldier and American hero let him wear whatever he wants
Sikhs are the combat machines. They do not care about heads or personal safety when in service. They can put their heads into the barrel of tank to silent the enemy tank . That's the soldiers origin from My Country India . Koi sakk
Anup Sharma shame on you
Once i saw a sikh under a tank and after tank went away the sikh started running!
Xyz Sing Ask your mom, that sikh was your biological Dad..
@POC Skellington
Dear Skellington, Thanks
Be a Human not skeleton
Wahid Rashidov he didn’t actually mean it like that stupid
