This isn't a bad take. The Beatles are best when they're live and figuring it out. The polish isn't the amazing part. The raw idea is. Everything about this song is in this take and they were doing it live. Ringo is great.
@@StephenWorth That's why I wrote "Bad" like that. In other words, not good enough by George Martin's standards. A better, more straight forward word would be outtake.

It's nice to see these alternate takes get released in such clean quality. This take has been floating online and through bootlegs for a while. It's amazing how much better a song can sound with audio that's just a little cleaner
This is actually the first time this full take has been available anywhere. The only other things that have been available from this rhythm track session are take 1 (Anthology 3), some other snippets (like the end of Take 3) that have floated around, and of course the master take on the album (take 8).
Man, I love hearing new takes of classic songs. It's not really the songs you get tired of, it's hearing the same performance over and over. This is like hearing it again for the first time.
September 19 , 2019 It was this week in 1969 the last meeting took place in which all 4 Beatles were in each others physical presence. 50 years now Never to Come Together again
How is it possible that four supreme musical talents from the same City can somehow come together and then go on to make the greatest modern day music that anyone has ever heard? The magic of The Beatles will never be equalled or surpassed.
I love the beatles, the "bad" shots, their songs, everything; LONG LIVE THE BEATLES! My life has somehow improved for them, I am beginning to have more personality, I was supposed to sing "Yesterday" this year, but it was not possible, because I put a teacher strike and I could not sing . I really love those four boys
Never got to see the Beatles ‘Live’. Turning 65 next Tues. ...my bucket list ..to see a live show with Paul McCartney. Got my burial plot...funeral plans of ALL BEATLES music...LOL....would love to see Paul McCartney in person just once.

Canadian Studmuffin that’s right! I love you’re Beatles videos! As here comes the sun is my favorite song on this extremely awesome, fun and iconic album I can’t wait to hear what the new mix of that will sound like! The Beatles legacy lives on forever!
I like it too... Nice and raw, punk before punk. Could've been because his voice was giving out after a long day of recording, or maybe from taking speed. I say that because everytime I've done any kind of speed, my voice would give out and start to strain and crack in just a few songs in it seemed.
Amazing how much passion John puts into what's just going to be a guide vocal. He's really pushing himself here.... even though it's always going to be wiped for the proper vocal take.
So raw, wow! Must have just been spine-tingling being in the studio while the Beatles built up these musical masterpieces layer by layer, take after take

As soon as John messes up 'eyes' he/the beatles realize the take is blown, so everyone plays much more casually. God i love outtakes like this
2:06 it's always funny when John's voice cracks. You know when you love a band so much, you even like the "bad" takes
Absolutely this raw studio takes are just amazing! That voice crack has more talent than most of today's music.
