Hi Angela, We did not varnish over the paint, but you could. If you want to seal with varnish, be sure the paint is completely dry (a few days) and perhaps do a test to make sure it doesn't smear the paint. Here's the how-to on our blog: runningwithsisters.com/anthropologie-knock-off-whimsical-jewelry-box/ Cheers, Jennifer & Kitty
Yes! That should work fine. Here's the how-to for the jewelry box we made in the video: runningwithsisters.com/anthropologie-knock-off-whimsical-jewelry-box/ Cheers, Jennifer & Kitty
The lace would have made an interesting cover for the draw. Thanks for sharing this with us 😊
Yes Janelle. That would have been pretty!
Thanks for watching!

Great idea thanks
Thanks Angela!

I wonder if this would work on an acrylic painting? I would love to use lace as a stencil in my abstract paintings.
Yes! It should work just fine. Maybe do some tests to get a feel for it. Fun idea!

Would stencilling brushes work on this as well?

Can I paint a lace pattern ok fabric? Using this method?
Hmmm...we've never tried that. If you stretched and secured the fabric you want to paint on, it should work. Let us know how it turns out!
