This bike comes from the days of my early teens. Was born in 1974. To see bikes form these days warms my heart. Big bore 2 strokes.

I began serious dirt racing in 1974 the year you were born .im 72 ..where did all the time go ? Its in your blood . You were born with the addiction . You will die with it . I was addicted from my uncle bob when i was age 4 ..my dad and mom when to visit bob and his wife genie . Bob grabbed me by under my arms and tossed me over the fat bobs of his brand new 50th anniversary harley davidson pan head full dressed hog and said hold on boy ...needless to say i was instantly hooked..my ride today after plenty of dirt bikes and harleys ,is a 2009 mirage orange pearl xr1200 im presently building a dry NOS system of about a 25hp boost of throttle in a bottle

Absolute monster. My stepfather had an 87 he was too scared to ride so it just sat there collecting dust... my and my buddies skipped skool one day when he was away and we got it running... Insane Powerband

Sick build cobber 👍, sounds absolutely beautiful. I’ve been riding since I was 9, I’m nearly 48 now. & I never came across one of these beauty’s. My neighbour had a yz 80 87, & his brother had a yz 125 88. We used to cane those bikes, & they never let us down. Great bikes, but this beast here is on another level. This “ thing “ would be horrifically fast, it even sort of look’s evil. Top job sir 👍. I ridden so many bikes before, but I’d love to take one of these babies for a little spin.

I had one of those when they first came out. Just plain stock it was a monster....a scray monster ,almost killed myself a few times way to much power just goose it a little and you will eat the hande bar..
All I can say is you better know how to ride before you take on a beast like this..

I've seen some people sucessfully starting big bore bikes with a single bare hand. That doesn't make them any smarter. The bike looks great though. The sound? Even better.

Lovely bike mate. I'm in NZ. '04 KX500 low hour and '01 CR500R in the shed zero hours. Not impressed with you starting it wearing flip flops. I started my KX500 wearing my Nikes and it kicked back and tore my calf muscle apart, along the length of it. 2 days in Hospital. 24 stitches. i wasn't wearing shorts but a long pair of training pants.
