How I Live a Slow & Simple Life While Working // In this video, I share my personal working experiences and a system for living simply and slowly while managing my work life 😊
Living slowly doesn't mean being unproductive or lazy. Instead, it's about finding a rhythm that allows you to thrive while maintaining a sense of peace. By simplifying your life and focusing on what truly matters, you can create space for joy and fulfillment, even in the midst of a busy work schedule.
One of the key aspects of slow living when working is learning to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively. Instead of rushing through your to-do list, take a moment to identify the most important tasks and tackle them with intention and focus. By practicing soft productivity-working steadily and deliberately-you can feel less overwhelmed ✨
Incorporating self-care into your daily routine is also essential for maintaining balance and well-being. Whether it's taking short breaks throughout the day to stretch and breathe deeply or carving out time in the evenings for relaxation and reflection, prioritizing self-care can help you recharge and stay resilient in the face of work-related stress.

Thank you for your wonderful video. ❤ I work at a campingpark. I like walking, watching youtube, reading and learning new stuff. At the moment I learn skills with rings and Qi Gong. I'm struggeling with the Job because there are so many people to be pleased but nature always helps me when I'm stressed. Also for the first time in my life I'm nurturing my spiritual body and mind by following the teachings of Thich Nhat Hahn who was a buddhist Zen master from Vietnam and founded Plum Village in France. 🙏

This is one of your best videos. I’m retired now but over my lifetime I learned to basically follow the path you outlined. I worked in four very different jobs always striving toward the kind of life you describe. It took me 20 years to find it but the last one was paradise because it had all the elements in your chart.
I’m glad that you point out that finding a life you love may not come easily and I’m glad you found yours. Peace and long life.

Another great video. As a baby boomer it's very interesting to hear what you had to say here.
I remember when I graduated high school (no plans for higher education) it was just very difficult to get a job of any kind.
There would be a dozen people interviewing for every job out there, even working at a convenience store.
The mindset was you took what you could get, and hope some day to get a better job.
I taught myself about computer work. But for years I wasn't able to break into the job market there.
Eventually I got good enough, and finally someone I knew referred me to what would end up being my career in IT.
So I guess what I am seeing is the contrast with today's job market. It seems there are entry level jobs everywhere. And decent prospects for long term careers.
Very unlike my day. There were just too many people and too few jobs.
The mentality back then was "just get to work and like it." So different from what you are saying here.
I think your attitude is far more healthy. But this is why the baby boomers might not understand what your generation is doing. Funny.
    Anyway, keep on!

Yeah very different times these days. And as I mentioned in the video, sometimes you can't just choose and you have to settle for something at least for a while. I think when you were younger it was the case for most people. And this is actually the reason why people sometimes ask me to get a "real job" and not just post videos online 😄

It's full of guides, practical exercises and deep dives into topics like this 😉 But of course more educational and extensive than a youtube video. I guess it depends on how much you think the transformation that it offers is worth for you 😊
