- I finally upgraded my TV setup to the new Samsung The Frame TV and after a month of use, here's my full honest review. I'm excited to share this review with you and show you just how nice Samsung's 2024 Frame TV (65") looks, but it does come with its flaws.
In this video, I install the slim wall mount, hide the cables in the wall, install the frame bezels and update my loungeroom setup then go over what it's been like using this TV.

Just finished building my house and for the longest time I have been pondering this TV because we do not have a whole lot of wall space for decor. After watching this review I was SOLD. It looks magnificent in the house and when in art mode it really adds another dynamic to the living space ! Sure there are better TV's out there, but I have zero regrets it has made my living space much more habitable rather than just a tv room.
Did you end up buying this? Was it good
is it really matte? My TV is kinda old and faces directly my window, so I was looking into this mainly for it being matte
I'm glad they are only 600 dollars now, might get me one too at that price.

great review - i just looked at the 43" frame today in currys and with their samsung rep. i'm in a well lite room, so this seems to solve the issue - did notice the angle viewing , will have to go back and have another look at the display, I also noted on richersounds it says it does not have the youview option tio go back last 7 days an view catchup - we use that a lot on PVR and a panasonic TV - i thought it may make my apple TV redundant 0 but sounds like I may use it more now , i'm hoping to get a fishtank video to play on it, some of the apple TV screen savers are amazing , thanks again

Hi Andrew, thanks for the video. I learned a few things that I wasn't aware of. Question: I bought some art works on Etsy for Frame TV and was wondering if I could set it up so 20 or 30 art pix could change every 3 minutes or so, instead of just showing one all the time. I tried to set it up with the rotation every 3 minutes but the pic doesn't change. What am I doing wrong ? Framed !!

Thanks for the video. Are you able to hit the power on the Samsung remote which would turn on the tv, Apple TV 4K box and sound bar? Then, you would also be able to control the sound bar volume from the remote too?
There being no keyboard on the Samsung remote, I would like to use the Apple Remote on my iPhone. In that case, if I turn on the Apple TV box from my phone would that also turn on the tv itself? ….the sound bar too?
Hey Andrew, great review - might actually get this one. One very important question: What's the name of the TV cabinet and where would I be abble to buy it? Think mot of 'em are pretty ungly, but this one is fire!

FRAME. Thank you for this helpful review, Andrew. I also like the fact that your review is independent of manufacturer influence. I was very interested that you use the AppleTV 4K with the Frame. I have two stereo-paired HomePods connected through my AppleTV 4K. I see you use the Sonos. This gives me hope that I could still use my HomePods for sound via the AppleTV 4K box. Do you think that will work? I am trying to decide between the 50” and 55” Frame. Are there any other differences between the two other than the frame rate? I am not a gamer. But I do want the best images I can get on shows and movies as well as the Art features. Any advice? I’d love to get your setup. Thanks.

Great review and thank you from the UK. I really wanted to get this TV but you have killed it due to the limited viewing angles. Great shame. And disappointing, as Samsung sales literature states 'Wide Viewing Angle *not supported on 43 and 50 models'. I will look for another close mounted TV, maybe the CU8000, or if you know of an LG one (already an LG user and familiar with their menu and remote).

Framed. Very useful review. Your comment about off-axis viewing has me a little worried about how much of a dealbreaker this could be. I'm trying to be sensible and looking at the 43" version (convincing myself I'll never connect the PS5 to it).

You have to cut into drywall (hopefully thats what you have and not brick or concrete) and fish your power wires through be careful on exterior walls as you will be fighting insulation and even worse I'd you for spray foam that hardens it's going to be a fun project. Be careful of wires behind walls make sure to to check before using a multi tool or drywall knife
Its also against code to run a power cable through a wall like that...

Good afternoon! Thankyou for your detailed review on the framed tv. Can you confirm that it is the 2022 model though? Your title makes it sound like a 2023 model, but all my searching so far only shows a 32" model made in 2023.. All of the others are 2022....

The model is 2022 even if it was purchased in 2023 I believe. They did not update it this year. I am hoping for a 2024 launch too!
I noticed you had the Govee LED backlight for your previous TV. Is there room to fit it in the behind the Frame or is the gap too close to the wall?

Hi Andrew. Have you noticed any strange purple or red smudging when a dark object moves across a lighter background in games or while watching movies? Have you noticed uneven screen backlighting? Have you noticed the dirty screen effect? How's the screen response time? Sorry for my English.
What a great, informative review. Thanks. I have an unrelated question - and it's not a criticism. I notice you pronounce the letter "H" as "Haysh." For example, HDMI is pronounced Haysh-D-M-I. I've heard this pronunciation several times recently. Is this the normal pronunciation of this letter in you're home country? Where is that?
