After growing up a ministers son, in a Christian high school, and participating in a belief system that sustained itself based off of guilt, tradition, conformity, and an absence of individual consciousness, with regard to the cognitive zeitgeist of Judeo Christian nationalism and it’s centuries old infection of ethical mores dogmatism in the United States, this song is incredibly refreshing to listen between the lines. Thank you to Corey, and any of the other songwriters who contributed to the poignant scrutiny of fake morality and religious.”bimboism” which still exists in most of the naïve Bible Belt backwoods of our country, but also is a virus in the upper echelon of laws and rules governing the land.
