Aaron I may or may not have had a couple of drinks with dinner so take this thought with a grain of salt,but sometimes I think we can overdo it with specialised pouches and cases. I have so many pouches, cubes, and dopps and I find with a well designed pack it usually deals with everything in house, each to their own and horses for courses etc but a pencil case??? Love the reviews as always 😊
😂 can’t argue with that! Like you said though, to each their own, some people like a pouch for everything - pencils included ✏️

That black interior is a bummer for sure. Don't get how a huge channel reviewing a ton of bags and pouches over so many years didn't think of that tbh. Remembered some interesting hint by the Evergoods designer in one of their videos where he pointed out that they chose a shade of grey right in the middle between black and white for their CAP to have good contrast for either black oder lighter colored gear. Dude knows his shyt.
While some ppl do prefer black interiors, it’s def not the preference in the community

I actually love the Bellroy pencil case/pouch combo (bought X3). I wish they could be bought separate and they're not exactly "review friendly" due to the simplicity and lack of organization. But I appreciate that as all the dividers and padding in usual pouches just end up adding unnecessary bulk/weight. I throw in small zip pouches if I need org for small bits 'n bobs.

I thought so as well until I switched back to the Bellroy Desk Caddy last week.... so much lighter and less bulky. CAP2 is one of the GOATs but damn that Desk Caddy kills it too

I'm gonna say this, and many won't like it, it it needs to be said: the moment a media company or RUclipsr who focused on reviews, comes out with their own line of products, I see that as a conflict of interest. Your reviews will always be suspect from that point onward. I think pivoting to your own brand is the right move, but trying to do your own brand and reviews makes you lose credibility.
Totally see your point! But I also don’t think it’s an automatic losing of all credibility. It depends how the brand handles it and how honest they are in their reviews moving forward. For NN, my goal is to make it the #1 brand in the carry community regardless of my involvement with Fyro. Our reviews are going to be a reflection of what is best for the viewers, not for our own bottom line. It’ll be a fascinating ride, let’s see what happens
