    Your bike looks so much better without the fairing

    • @Valorcycle
      @Valorcycle  2 года назад

      Personal preference. I prefer to have the fairing as I dont really like the bare headlight look.

      @@Valorcycle yeah I would say as far as fairings in general I'm not a fan but if I had to have one for wind management I would go with what you have. Your bike is absolutely gorgeous! well done on the turn signals! Are you getting the matching brake lights and if so will you make a video?

      @@SyberiousGraphics Thanks! I would probably get the road warrior fairing if you need wind resistance. The cafe fairing is ok but not great for wind deflection.
      I already have the radiantz taillight installed, so won't be changing to the Custom Dynamics tail lights. If I were to do it all over again, I would opt for those vs the radiantz.

      @@Valorcycle that's good to know after I convert mine to keyless entry I'll be doing the turn signals front and back. Thankfully I know of a video that will help me install the front ones 😉

    Amazing! I will actually consider those too for the visibility. Got a question about the headlight, after you mounted the "spacer" from Memphis Shades, does your original bolt (the vertical that attaches from the bottom to the relocation block) feel a little bit to short? My headlight feels like it moves side to side a bit too much.

    • @Valorcycle
      @Valorcycle  3 года назад

      I didn't have to mount any spacers with my fairing. Just had to relocate the turn signals is all, so my headlight stays put :).

      @@Valorcycle Oh gotcha. Maybe I had to do that because my bike is a Bobber. Well.. thanks anyway dude!

      That's very possible. I've noticed the bobber and regular scout have some fitment differences

    Is that also the custom dynamics pro beam 5.75 headlight as well ? Is that just simple plug and play ? Also how do you like the Memphis shades fairing ??? Thx man.

    • @Valorcycle
      @Valorcycle  3 года назад

      The headlight is from Hogworkz, and yes it is plug and play.
      I like the look of the cafe fairing but it's not too "functional" in actually blocking wind. I still get a ton of air on my chest and head. If you want something more functional, the gauntlet will be better for blocking wind off the chest bit youll still get some on your head. The road warrior style should block most everything.

      @@Valorcycle I currently use the dart marlin wind screen and it’s awesome. Like the look of the Memphis tho 😎

    • @Valorcycle

      Yeah I dont do tooo much highway riding so the wind isnt a big issue for me. Looks over function for now 😁 (at least for the fairing)

  • @WarPaintCustom

    Those look killer.
    On your Fairing how does it do on the highway with wind buffering?

    • @Valorcycle
      @Valorcycle  3 года назад +1

      I still get quite a bit on my chest and head. I'm 6'3" so only a full length wind screen will actually do much for me.
      I personally don't mind the wind though. I'm usually only on the highway for and hour or so when I need to take it.

    Did you disconnect the battery? I believe the instructions says to disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery?

    • @Valorcycle
      @Valorcycle  2 года назад

      I didn't. I don't remember that being in there but since it uses connectors I think it is fine since it's not hard wired to the battery. Not an expert on wiring and electricity so I could be completely wrong.
