I'm a beginner Crystal and you are so good at teaching, in every way. Your voice and the way you speak makes me feel comfortable learning. I made this beanie tonight and you make it so easy to learn 🤗🤗🤗 Thankyou!!!
Doubt you remember me from several years back, but I just wanted to let you know that I have still been watching your videos. I love this hat! And the Japanese knot bag. I just made two of them! Thank you so much for just being you.
You are so smart! Your fingers just got! I hope to be as good as you someday. I learn so much watching you! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. ☺
This beannie looks fantastic and easy. Just what I need right now. I promised my son in law a beannie over a month ago and have yet to do it. ☹️ Stuff happens sometimes. He wants blue with a yellow pom pom, so I think I'll use this one. Thanks tons Crystal, I never have a problem finding things to chrochet on your channel. ❣️
This hat is super easy and works up very quickly! Thank you Crystal for the tutorial for this! (As always you gave excellent directions 🤓) You are awesome Crystal 🤘
I don't think you'll find this particular yarn at Hobby Lobby, but if you have a Walmart, you should find it there. Of course, Hobby Lobby has their yarn with the metallic threads, and it would be just as nice in my opinion.
That is such a genius idea for the pompom! I used this pattern to make myself a beanie with the Caron x Pantone (in colors Tree Rings) and it came out beautifully! For anyone who is interested in how the skeins worked out for me, I'll put it below. I started deepest to lightest. Color 19- 5 rows Color 17- 3 rows Color 16- 3 rows Color 13- was rows 6 & 7 and then 2 rows of sc. I didn't use the 5th color (14-1210) . These figures are specifically for the Caron x Pantone in Tree Rings, weight 5. I did use the recommended J hook. I did have to undo some rows and adjust my tension a few times but it was well worth it. I have made beanie for a few years now and this is the first one I've completely enjoyed and wanted to wear! Thank you Crystal for the amazing pattern!
Already I have 4 of your hats in the 'do next list'... Another one added.... I'm gonna get my shoulder cracked the next week because of over crocheting 😂 😂 😂 😂.... Thank you Crystal for your tutorial..... I madly love making all the beanies you make.... Love you so much 😍😍😍😍😍
Gosh this hat looks so nice and such an easy pattern. Thanks Crystal. I'm always looking for a nice and easy hat pattern as I make a lot for charity. Super!
Hi Crystal. Super cute Beanie.....can’t wait to make it. You are such a great teacher. I know you get sick of hearing that but here goes......”YOU ARE SUCH A GREAT TEACHER”!!!! Love you and your tutorials.
Lindy Nunnenkamp~This beannie pattern looks amazing, but easy. I'm going to make matching ones; one for my daughter, one for my son-in-law, last but not least one for my first Granddaughter born on January 23, 2020. Crystal never, ever disappoints with her patterns!
Made this today using Scarfie yarn and a larger hook for my big headed son. It looks great! Thank you for another great tutorial. How about a dog carrier tutorial? No one else has one!
I just used that same yarn for a Santa's hat..but in red it came out nice...Like that yarn a lot...But most definitely I will be making this one..Thanks
I was watching when you bought that yarn. I absolutely love that color! I couldn't wait to see what you make. I certainly didn't have to wait long! It is so nice, I love the pom-pom! Thank you! 😍
These are good. My issue with the dc hats is the gaps creating a bit of air holes ( but better for autumnal weather). I suppose a heavier yarn would work but then the cap is expensive. But grately appreciate your inspirational tutorials.
A lot of crochet patterns call for ch2 or 3 at the beginning of a row or round of double crochet, and count those chain stitches as the first stitch. Why do you ch1 (and not count it as a stitch), and then do the double crochets? I'm guessing maybe it creates more even edges (for rows) or a less obvious join (for rounds)?
Lol my friend told me when I wore it that I looked like I put a bowl over my head. 😆 😂 Oh well, maybe this isn’t the right shaped hat for my head, which is already very round. Anyway, I really liked this tutorial.
@@BAGODAYCROCHET I live in a county that has no snow , or nights that are very cold , and the only kind of yarn I get is acrylic , and cotton to expensive .I mostly do decorated items and bags , but you are my crochet mojo and I learn the best stitches from you
I live in Southern California and need a cold weather cap like I need a hernia but I still enjoy the videos and occasionally make them (and then hope like hell for cold weather).
You are the first one I can follow exactly. You are clear and and a great teacher. Thank you.

Um yeah that so very cute!
Will this fit someone who would take a large size wig or is this a one size fits all? Great video!
Thanks for tutorial! I think i can do this!
Thanks:) love it 😊
Hey Crystal! Have you ever done a CAL? Would you consider a CAL? Have a beautiful day 💙
This is great do you have any patterns for a slouch hat?
Can I use Red Heart Super Saver?
Would the numbers change if 5 weight yarn is used instead of 4?
Nice!
That was quick getting the tutorial up!
My hat came out bigger should I go down a size with the hook?
6th pattern for BODalong 😀💜
Love it
Is that the skein u just got from shopping in your last video 😁
It turn out to be so beautiful beanie ♥️😍

I think the chain 3 looks bad.... but I do use it occasionally depending on the project.
I used a I hook and still to big. Suggestion please
Just bought a pack of those poms so perfect timing! Super cute hat. Ty
Lol my friend told me when I wore it that I looked like I put a bowl over my head. 😆 😂 Oh well, maybe this isn’t the right shaped hat for my head, which is already very round. Anyway, I really liked this tutorial.
Was this the one you just got other day?
❤
What happened to one of your videos? It showed a pretty cat. It would not load.
Still sad
Why so sad?
