UFO- 'Venus'- Shepherd's Bush Empire; London-Apr.4,2019 Thurs.

This was the penultimate London show (the next night they played the ‘Forum’.) on their farewell tour. It was also the penultimate gig for long standing guitarist Paul Raymond(far right: who was in the band off and on since 1976) since he died of an heart attack 9 days later.
Having been around as long as the other pioneers of Metal (their 1st album was from 1970.) they have been severely over-looked.
From their 14th Lp ‘Walk on Water’, from 1995, when all 5 of the classic 70’s lineup reformed, with the first appearance of Michael Schenker(since ‘’Obscession’-their 7th Lp from 1978) here is a deep cut that rarely gets played and a belated goodbye from some Metal legends.
