@ A lot more power! The battery technology with the stacked 24v power output and charging is far more advanced than the Forge series. This is coming from someone who owns 20+ m18 tools
I was waiting all week for someone to post a video like this. Also I’ve been expecting flex to release polishers in this USA rebrand line for 2 years!! I have their impact drills and batteries and they charge super fast. I’ve held off on buying a rupes wireless polisher and the Milwaukee because I had a feeling Flex was going to beat them. It’s going to be Christmas for our business this year! I’m buying all 3 polishers! And selling rupes! 😂 thanks Josh for this video. I feel like a kid again waiting for Star Wars clone wars movie ti come out lolol. And it looks like their polishers are gonna be cheaper than rupes and they are brushless! RUPES major fail was not making their polishers brushless. I had rupes at my shop doing a training and test if their polishers… and it’s beautiful. But this is near flawless. Rugged, refined and beautiful and they listened to what the detailers were saying and wanted. Very smart business move
great video. looking forward to your review of the new cordless polisher. looking at getting a cordless polisher myself. was going to get the rupes one but i think i will wait a few more weeks and see what the new flex ones are like
Same as any other battery powered unit but I will say the new design does feel really comfortable.. the 8 or 10ah battery would definitely make them heavy for that though
@ Yeah. The DIY Detail does look a little odd/different. But it looks like it makes more sense and more ergonomic. Which only increases the user experience. Once they are out would definitely like to see a comparison
Thank God they kept the rubber all over the polishers and didn't come up with some stupid nonsense excuse about how you shouldn't set your polisher on the car anyway, so they didn't.
It’s pricey….no doubt….but it’s a great cordless machine. And its quality. If money was no object, I’d take a flex any day over griots. If pricing was a concern, and i wanted cordless, I’d probably go with Milwaukee.
1st Thanks for your honest reviews on your channel. 2nd thanks for your support of the detailing community. Great video!
Great video Josh! I love my Flex 24v polishers. I had the pleasure testing for flex.
Lucky!!
@dsktsunami how do they compare to Milwaukee?

Thanks Josh
Can't wait to get my hands on one!
I want the DA polisher and love all of their tools as I have many.
Really informative video. Keep putting videos like this out.
Should have called them the Spinal Tap version. "You can turn it up to 11!"😊
Haha best movie ever
Great video thanks for the info!!
JV, you truly are a pro at this. I have a lot to learn. Thanks brotha.
This is scary, i was jusy researching about polishers yesterday, i’ve been thinking of buying one
Flex or Rupes ?? Which one do you prefer?

Thanks for the video....They look really heavy for doing side door and fender work....

6.0 stacked or 3.5 stacked will be a perfect battery weight.
Definitely less than the Milwaukee.
I'm flexing my muscles yo
I was all set to buy one, but then Matt hinted at mirka making a 5” and now I restart to buy anything else
The DIY detail design looks better.
There’s felt very well balanced but the design is very different than what I’m used to.

Do you know what country the new 24-volt polishers are made? Great video Josh.
1 very important question.. When will these be available in europe? 🤩🤩
Is the new DA machine improved when it comes to pad stalling?
The new power is supposed to deliver much more torque so it should be resolved! But I’ll do a full test as soon as I get mine
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
👍👍

Will be dumping my garbage one year, old milwaukee DAs. For this machine.
Algorithm comment 👍
Ha thanks!
Don’t like new color …… no 21mm? 🤔
Really? I think it’s look great. Yea no 21 yet, I was hoping for that right away too
Flex cost way too much. Get a griots garage
