Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience! Snorkel maintenance is similar to maintaining CPAP parts. There is a purpose made sanitizer product available but you can also use white vinegar to kill bacteria. Cleaning after each use is a good idea and disassembling and using the brush is good. I would also sanitize at least once a week using vinegar bath to kill the microscopic cooties.

Hi Lindsey! You're doing a terrific job with this channel. Keep it up!
I would like to suggest that you introduce some skills for open water swimmers. You know, endurance and how to deal with waves (against, sideways or from behind). Let me tell you a personal experience. I live by the sea and I love swimming out there. However in the summertime the beach becomes so crowded and people are becoming increasingly "untidy" if you know what I mean, that the waters close to the beach are gross to say the least. So as I happen to also love sailing, I jump on my boat and go far from shore to find some amazing blue waters. However today I made a mistake and I left my boat drifting without realizing it was in the wrong setting. So it kept sailing away. Fortunately the wind was very calm! I had to catch up with the boat that was sailing towards the shore. I am a decent swimmer (I don't drown) but at one moment I was concerned: by swimming calmly I wasn't catching up! So I had to increase the pace, and fast!, before I would tire out. It took me about a 200m sprint to reach the boat (without giving it my all just in case). I'm sure this will inspire you plenty of ideas for new videos on techniques and gear.
    Cheers!

BTW the rubber mouth piece on the Speedo Performance Bullet it's removable which IMHO makes it easier to clean the part that has greater contact with saliva (therefore germs). 👍🏼 Great work Lind! #PushIt 💪🏼

If your mom doesn't already have one you can buy a handheld steamer at any big box store for about 15.00 and then just steam snorkel out. Dont get it to close but just close enough for steam to go through. Steam rises so hold snorkel above steamer and it will go through and steam clean. Very quick and no drying😉 put hand high up on snorkel when doing this or you will steam clean your fingers!!! Ouch!!!
