I recently had a friend pass away and i thought it was really cathartic to see hughie get one more day with his dad, i know losing someone you care for is like ripping your guts out and having a chance to have any more time with someone is a blessing. Its sad they had to kill him at the end but it was more about getting one more day to say goodbye.
My off and on boyfriend of 15 years, took his life three years ago and I would love one more day just to laugh with him. There are so many times where I see videos about our inside jokes and I wish I could text him. And now I can’t. Appreciate the time
Yeah, that guy at the end was looking at the spot where Kessler was like "Who are you TALKING to?" Kessler's in Butcher's head like Becca, I am more convinced than ever.
Butcher is the only hallucinating, no one else is. Hughie’s mom is 100% real. Whereas Becca and Kessler are definitely in butchers head. They are an Angel and Devil concept. Becca always shows up when he’s having positive thoughts and Kessler only shows up when it’s a negative thought.
So Homelander isn’t being a good dad by any stretch. He’s just figured out the way to manipulate his son and teach him to be as cruel as him. Under the guise of “helping people” he’ll be just as evil as Homelander.
Ok to clarify… the ones saying that she’s a hallucination were getting that from a Easter egg video, but episodes 3 and 4 gave too much evidence she was real but you know… they fir some reason didn’t check that? Ignore them for calling you dumb. Now the one I had a suspicion was fake is jdm and this episode just confirmed it fir me I think. Sameer looked confused at who butcher was talking to.
I think Butcher is the only one hallucinating people this season, so Joe (Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s character) is the one I truly don’t think is real. Hughie’s mom always felt real to me, but there’s definitely more going on with her than meets the eye and I don’t trust her. She told Hughie this episode that the V fell out of his coat… but if you rewatch the end of episode 4, it seems way more likely that she pick-pocketed him when she went to hug him and he shrugged her off. I would question why Hughie isn’t more suspicious of her whole “oh, I thought you wanted me to do it” schtick, but he’s also extremely emotional with the loss of his dad and it makes sense that he would be too emotional to think straight AND be more likely to let his mom back into his life easily because he’s losing one parent. If the mom does end up meeting the rest of the group, I wonder if any of them will be suspicious and see through her. It would be interesting if Annie did, since she has experience with Moms with ulterior motives.

I don't know why people thought Hughie's mom was a hallucination. It was very obvious that it wasn't every time the doctors was in the room and they were talking about updates about his dad. As far as Kessler being a hallucination though that is fascinating. The only issue is Butcher was with the gang the entire time in the barn. I feel that they would have noticed him slipping away kidnapping Sameer and chopping his leg off. There's no way he had the time to do all of that without anyone going where the fuck is Butcher at
I rewatched the end of the episode, and I think I found where he took Sameer. He and Butcher were with the group right up until they run out of the barn. Then when the sheep attack everyone runs off in different directions. We don’t see Butcher until after the sheep die, and Neumann notices Sameer is missing right after. That’s when it happened. I’m not sure HOW he hid Sameer from Neumann and the cops. But I don’t think we’re supposed to think Joe did it because Sameer specifically says that Butcher chopped off his leg, and Joe acts like Butcher is the one who did it too when they arrive at the barn. It’s not Joe showing Butcher what he’s done, it’s the other way around.
And then I can only assume that he must have used some sort of equipment on the farm cause it was a clean cut. Either way I think the revelation is going to be interesting. I feel there is more to it than just an hallucination@@lowkeyproductions6681

The supe-killing virus takes out the sheep in a matter of minutes or hours where on the Gen V show it took several days to kill a human. Somehow Butcher and Jeffrey Dean Morgan's character kidnap Sameer and amputate his leg with no one else noticing. I didn't want to say it, but episodes like this make this the weakest season of the show so far.
