So very interesting, however a brutal past.
I’ve wondered about Black Africans and Mexico before, but hadn’t thought that far south along the pacific coast. I somehow thought the African slave trade was predominantly in the southern United States.
Man, was I wrong about that. I am assuming there’s also a rich history along the Eastern parts of Mexico from where Texas ends going south from that point.
Thank you for opening up my mind. ❤

i knew that mexico was involved in the transatlantic slave trade so i wasn't surprised to see it look similar to US slave system. they also abolished slavery before the US which explains why so many fled to mexico before the US civil war, i wonder if any of them are descended from those people.

Liban. The next video I release will be about the African Americans who escaped to Mexico to escape slavery in America. I am editing now

Probably not that far south, you'd more than likely see some Mexicans in the northern states that have features that make you think they may have African ancestry. They probably have a more likely connection to people that fled the US.

Thanks for the comment. In some way awareness of Afro Mexican’s is increasing but the bloodline is getting diluted because of mixing and many of them going to USA

jajajajaja......yes I'm trying hard to americanize the people here..jajajaja...just kidding. In a way, I agree with you, when I see a anglo-american or canadian face here( sort of rare actually), I immediately have my people investigate what they are up to. Over the past 30 years I have been here, there have been some not too pleasant intentions by foreigners who come this way. If they were poor like me, then there would be no problem, but the foreign rich gentrifying parts of Mexico is NOT a good thing.

@@libanabdulle5454 haha. I am in Colombia now and people ask if I am Colombian. I tell them my Spanish is awful and therefore I am not Colombian. Liban, you would be surprised how many Afro-Mexicans look Somali. Because a lot of them have indigenous blood. So the hair, skin color/tone and nose is similar to Somalis.

@@HirsiTV Most definitely, I've met a few Afro-latinas before and they reminded me a lot of Somali women (fine features, dark skin and curly/straight hair). It's probably one of the most unique phenotype on earth.
