Yaesu FT-290R MKI fix repair RX No sound from internal speaker

Yaesu ft-290r , RX No sound from internal or external speaker, seems to be a common fault, FIX - replace IC Q1027 (UPC575C2), also recommend replacing all Electrolytic capacitors and fit a battery coin holder mod.

thanks Wayne, just picked up a nice physical condition 290R with this exact issue, uPC575C2 seems fairly common on ebay so will grab a couple tnx

were did you get the audio ic from ? i need to replace mine but cant find any for it 😤

UPC575C2 eBay was the only place i could find one
