Vlog #9 | Christmas Thrift and Antique Shopping | Estate Sale | Making Corbels for the Pergola

- Hello and welcome to the vlog!
Today we are starting the day baking some apple chips for me and my dogs Muffy and Robin! After we will go to an estate sale. It looks like there is a lot of salvaged items and antiques. I'm hoping to find some wood corbels to use for our backyard pergola. We will also be visiting a thrift store and antique store for their Christmas/Holiday shopping events. There was a lot of great items. I always love shopping for unique secondhand Christmas decor. After shopping we will head home and I'll share a haul of the things I purchased. I am so excited for the vintage Steinbach wood smoker santa claus I found! will also test fit the wood brackets/corbels I bought at the estate sale on the pergola. My husband Thanh will also be helping to recreate the corbel design with the scrapwood leftover from when he built the pergola.
I hope you enjoyed the vlog and will join us next time! We will be cleaning up the fall decor and pulling out our Christmas decoration bins as well as visiting a traveling vintage market.

Nice finds, I really love the little teddy bear and the smoker. I’m pretty sure he is missing a pipe that the smoke comes out of. You are very lucky to have a talented husband who does wood work. Mine has no desire to and I love to make things out of wood.
