Whatever anyone and everyone thinks about the doctor's and his companions, the characters, good or bad or grey, what ever one says about Doctor Who...... it always had and will have the best musical pieces with it that carry the day emotionally, even alone regardless of the flaws and mistakes of the characters.
Wow, awesome. I want to study Latin - I only know the Latin I've picked up from writing novels. Occasionally, I'll have someone say something in Latin, but obviously online translators don't really work for Latin so I've had to ask people who do know. I can now speak fluently in Shakespearean English (thee and thy and that type of wording) and it brings up some awkward conversations if I'm writing in that and someone messages me. Yesterday I ended up replying "How art thee this morning?" and then I got embarrassed. You get laughs out of learning dialets! would you recommend learning Latin? I've never properly learnt another language before.
Ok so Latin. Latin can be pretty difficult sometimes, it was my first language and I highly recommend you get a teacher. After you learn it, you will be more able to learn any other language on your own . You'll have learned tons of grammatical terms and techniques for language learning. Before I learned Latin, I was unaware that a lot of languages have grammatical Cases. (Accusative, Dative, Genitive, Instrumental, Ablative, Locative, ) Latin only has Accusative (who is affected in the sentence ie The servant gives food to his master servus *cibum* domino dat. the word cibum (food) is getting affected by the verb.) Then there is genitive (basically possessive) liber *puellae* (The girl's book OR more poetic version, also literal translation, The book of the girl.) its also used for amount omnes *corporis* (all of the bodies). Dative is used for the indirect thing in the sentence. Going back to earlier, servus cibum *domino* dat. The servant gives food TO HIS MASTER. or Servus cenam domino parat. The servant prepares food FOR his master. Ablative is basically prepositional phrases. cum servis = WITH the slaves. Servus liberatur *a domino* The slave is being set free by his master. As for locative, youll rarely run into it. Latin has super flexible word order because of its cases indicating whats going on. If this makes any sense. The verbs are also conjugated. Laborat= he/she/it works. (3rd person) Laboras = you work (2nd person laboro = i work (first person) Laborant = they work (3rd prsn plural) Laboratis you (all) work (2nd person plural) Laboramus we work (1st person plural.) There are also soooooooo many verb formations too like Passive, active mood: Subjunctive, Indicative Tense, past perfect, past imperfect, present, future, future perfect there is passive subjunctive active subjunctive active indicative passive indicative. THERE IS SO MUCH TO LEARN SORRY FOR NERDING OUT. Im learning Polish, Spanish, and Greek at the moment. Język polski jest moim faworatem!! I HIGHLY RECOMMENT LATIN BUT ITS TOUGH AND NOT FOR EVERYONE. you NEED to really get what you learn down before moving on. Theres my two cents! (probably a lot more than two cents........)
Wow, thanks for that! Seriously, I like it when people explain things in detail. "Nerding out" so to speak isn't a bad thing. I think I'll definitely try to find somewhere where I can learn Latin, since it's such an interesting language. And that's really cool that you're learning all three of them! Which is your favourite?
I've been rewatching NuWho the last few weeks and I just finished the End Of Time part 2 and no matter how many times I see it, it will always tear me up and hurt like shit.
@That One Guy You Walk Past Thank you, that added so much to this comment and isn't completely off topic and just a pointless reply in general! Good on ya!

Sam Johnstone welp, sorry. As with every video that I've done, I know it's not ideal, it's just an interpretation made by a guy who barely knows anything about music so I would not be expecting any proper professional stuff xD
Yvonne Van What aha, hey I'm in the same boat as you. Music wise. What I meant was, there's just some notes that sound really emotional with other notes. Like D and F#. I felt there was some points were there could have been a more emotional impact cause you know (I don't want to go.) Anyway, I have you to thank for showing me how to play a lot of my favourite themes. Mainly CW superhero stuff. So thanks.
This was definitely the saddest regeneration. But also the best. It was done so beautifully
Alfie Thomas probably this Capaldis and Smith’s
I agree. The part where the vocals get really loud and his regeneration destroys the tardis is just amazing.
I don’t want to go
HypoZilla capaldis was just annoying I timed it and it took 10 minutes and 37 seconds just for his speech to finish
It was only the saddest because he was alone when he regenerated

Gianluca Borg
Agreed, I can easily get teary eyed or pumped by many of the songs :)
I had a piss right next to the composer, Murray Gold
Gianluca Borg Murray gold has been the only consistent part of new who
Until Murray Gold left and now it’s a little emotionless which makes me so sad
Believe it or not, "Vale Decem" is Latin for "Farewell Ten".
i believe it...
Been doin latin for over three years baybee! i love it.

I feel there were a few missed opportunities in the left hand to make it more emotionally impactful.
Sam Johnstone yeah. It could've been more impactful if the left hand did a bit more to complement the right hand
Sam Johnstone yeah it was a little weak
