SubhanAllah ... If I'm not mistaken slandering is worse than killing. This subject is very close to my heart and I've endured it for most of my married life ... Alhamdulillah. The humiliation of my father and my family years ago must have been quite something, quite abhorant! When he was confronted with the news he was quite angry but kept it within the family and always assured me of his loving care for me! I did not comprehen what was going on at the time because I had two small children to care for. To cut the story short, I only developed enough courage to tell my grown up sons about it as recently as last year when I was physical hurt by the evil person! Ngahuzubillahiminashaitarnirajim. In hindsight, I'm grateful to Allah Azzawajal for showing his love, protection and guidance...Alhamdulillah. I've been through many difficult trials and tribulations in my life but I've never walked away from my faith ... Islam ... SubhanAllah. In fact, I've never been happier in my life until this year where I am living alone with my dear cat Koko and wanting to be closer to Allah Azzawajal daily and looking forward to my Hajj this year!...Alhamdulillah.😀 It is not a coincidence that my name is our mother's name! ... I learned something very important from this lecture. Everyday we commit sins knowingly or unknowingly and Allah knows better how many of our blessings are stripped from us simply because we do these sins without knowing. The most frightening part of it is that since most of us do not read and understand what the Quran is saying we miss out on the very reason why our lives are so difficult and we're left wondering, Why is this happening to me? What did I do wrong? Why am I being punished? On the day of judgement we won't even have the excuse to say, "ya Allah we didn't know better." because Allah had already sent the Quran. Instead, the Quran would bear witness and testify that we neglected it. May Allah guide our hearts...
