Nice work , mine should arrive in a few days. I’ve had both the Atlas 2.0 which had its own issues the Atlas 4.0 which I’m currently using now I find to be a great helmet as in comfortable good vision .I’ve put plenty of miles on it. It has had some issues, mainly rubber trim no issues with headlining or cheek pads. Looking forward to the to see if there has been improvements if mine works as good as what you say you’re experiencing I will be happy. The issues that you wanted to see improvement on are basically the same issues I wanted to see improvement on. Got a good deal on the Black Friday specials picked up the Mandalorian and the transition visor. I have the transition visor on the 4.0 and it’s awesome 👍🏻🇦🇺
I think you’ll be really happy with the eox man. Especially if you already liked the 4.0!
I own an atlas 4.0. Love it. Bought an EOX because I thought it would be an upgrade. Personally, I had multiple issues. Returned it twice and finally had to get a full refund and bought another atlas 4.0. The shock wave was nothing but problems cutting in and out. Sent me two of them and both had the issues. Must have been an issue with the internal wiring. The biggest issue was with the headliner. The clips in the back of the headliner are very small and didn’t hold. It would bunch up in the back of the helmet every time I put it on. They sent me a new liner. Same issue. I finally returned the helmet and asked for an exchange to a new atlas 4.0. Their communication was terrible. And after begging them to either exchange it or refund me for almost 3 months, they finally gave me a refund. The clips on the atlas liner are a much better quality. Even though their lack of communication and the poor quality of the EOX, I still went and bought another atlas 4.0, I just couldn’t find another helmet that I liked more than it. Please be careful with the EOX. Hopefully they work on their quality and customer service skills.
That sucks man. Sounds like the same Bs customer service I got when I had issues with the atlas 4.0 about 2 years ago. Also crappy quality control man. I’m sorry that happened to you. I’ve been fortunate and my eox has been great. I still use it almost daily with 0 issues
finally a review that doesn't either completely dump on the brand or be such an obvious sponsored review. ruroc gets better and better with every model they put out i don't think the hate for them is warranted at all anymore. loved my 4.0 and im thinking im gonna go with an eox now. that being said their audio system sucks if you get this helmet just get a cardo packtalk don't waste your money
Normally I would agree. But the eox audio system is actually very good. And they have the mesh communication version of it that is made with Cardo too
Nice review. I'm currently researching the EOX (looking at the Mandalorian design). I appreciate the info you provided about the Shockwave bluetooth, I didn't realize it is fully integrated with the helmet. I had one question about your mount from Ride Tech Moto, they only list a compatible mount for the Atlas line. Does that same mount fit perfectly on the EOX? Thanks again!

Thank you for reviewing this helmet, going to buy one. I have a question though, will lenses from atlas 4.0 fit eox, or they are different?
Honestly, I don’t know. I know they have the same field of view specs, so it might. I believe the mechanism is the same, but possibly the fit for the exterior of the lens with the helmet is different. On the website, they are clearly marked as two different lenses, one for the EO X, and the other for the Atlas. So according to them, they will not fit,

Personally I like my Eox and it is comparable to a Shoei GT Air as far as quality goes.

Thanks for the review! As from the comments people are so disingenuous with comments on the Internet. I've been researching helmets to get away from my first helmet which is an hjc, I bought to learn how to ride.
Love the price point, and the look of their helmets. Hopefully it will fit right and i can enjoy the ride compared to the unstable feeling i get turning my head with the hjc i have now, especially transitioning from parking lot to street. It scared the heck out of me looking side to side when i finally got the balls to go over 50 mph!
Which hjc do you have ? They have a huge range of helmets and they do actually make a lot of high quality models
I've tried a few different helmets from different brands. Currently I'm mainly using my Atlas 4.0 because 1- I love the Iron Man paint job and 2- after 1 hour of riding my Arai gives me earache, but I don't get that with the Ruroc.
The BF sale allowed me to get an EOX for £275 including a free Shockwave Bluetooth.
Would I pay top dollar for a Ruroc? No. But I'm willing to wait for a good deal, as they always do.
It seems I've been one of the lucky ones when it comes to quality. At this price, if the EOX is at least as good as my Atlas 4.0, I'll be happy.
I promise you the 4.0’s suck. It’s unfortunately ate but they do. The eox is actually very nice. If you liked the 4.0 you’ll love the eox. They actually did a really great job with it and like you said when they have a good sale it’s really worth it
What helmet would you compare this to in size? Is it as big as an Icon Airflight? I'm a skinnier guy and don't wanna look like a lollipop. Great review btw 👍
Thanks man. And honestly it’s bigger than any helmet I’ve ever seen. Icon, arai, shoei, agv, scorpion, hjc etc. none of them are this big

It can. Yes. If you want to get it mostly for communication get the upgraded one with Cardo tech in it!
Thinking of getting the EOX. I measure 59cm. According to RUROC I’m a Large. Would you get a Large if you were me?
What’s the size range for a large ?
How would you compare this Ruroc vs the Scorpion EXO?
I think the ruroc is slightly more comfy. Vision is about the same but a little wider on the scorpion. Ease of purchase and returns etc goes to scorpion hands down. They’re about the same level but I would pick the ruroc over the scorpion

i do have one issue with shockwave when i turn it on only left side is working after i volume up to max my right side start works but in ride is still turning on and off speaker is ok its all good pluged together i tried switch left side with right and still same problem its not in speaker . I think its problem with wires in helmet and dont know what to do.
Have you tried reaching out to ruroc ?
@@RidinDad not yet because I know how their communication with customers is very bad, especially during the holidays. Now i only wanted know if somebody have same issue and if have any solution

100%. Atlas 4.0 is hot garbage. Comfortable ness is all it’s got going for it. Everything else is trash. The eox is great
I owned a ruroc helmet for a year before becoming a Ruroc employee… I have left the company and switched to a Shoei. I don’t recommend any Ruroc products.

I work as an engineer and take that seriously. I wasn’t prepared to lower my standards, simple as that really. In my opinion people would be disappointed if they knew how Ruroc operated. I don’t wear and couldn’t recommend their helmets anymore, that wouldn’t sit right with me.
What about their engineering or product development was bad? I’m not saying this in a sarcastic or rude way. I genuinely want to know so I can be educated and I can pass it along to others as well.

How can you compare this to a real helmet like an Arai, I collect helmets and tried two Rurocs, both cheap China rubbish.
Cant believe people still buy these after the company has ripped people off by using them as guinea pigs to improve the helmet.

Not a Chinese tacky helmet. I myself have 3 videos on how much I disliked the atlas 4.0. The eox is very different. I have no benefits to post my opinion. I’m not affiliated at all with them.

lol that’s not why. But ok man. You don’t have to buy one that’s fine. I used to be like that and I would still say to stay away from the atlas series 100%. I’m not a brand loyalist. I like what works and is comfortable so if this eox is the best one I’ve worn in many years I’m gonna recommend it
I felt the same way about the Atlas helmets but I would put the Eox up against a Shoei.
