Grinder can get through any lock. If not, they just grind the trailer door hinges which bypasses all the fancy locks. That’s what theft insurance is for.
I hey when people say it doesn’t have here, I work for a asphalt company and it’s a decent size we’ve had like 8 or 9 skid steer doors stolen in the last 2 years, finally got a system to track everything
I have the same locks bro and still got mine stolen all they do is cut the two sides of the latch in the back. They got all my small tools 5k worth if they want it they will get it trust me nothing is 100 percent.
Remove the chains, remove the chains. I was driving from indy towards peoria, passed a trailer that was being towed by the safety chains wrapped around the ball. It had a hitch lock installed. Put an R clip on the clevis pins so you can REMOVE THE DAYUM CHAINS. Don't twist the chains, put the clevis pin into the correct link.
You must have saw my comment yesterday saying the code didn’t work lol. Just got a new enclosed and want to get another one. I’m just as nervous about stuff getting stolen when I’m out mowing as I am when my trailer is sitting there. Everything gets locked in a green touch on the side of the road
We have Soo much growth here, the phone doesn't stop ringing, zero advertising. The big mow companies seem to be abandoning residential and going commercial.
I’m sorry you have to protect your equipment this way. People around where I live don’t steal because they know of the lead consequences. Give anyone 3 minutes to battery grind the lever and it’s gone!
They're not going far if they're relying on safety chains to PULL a trailer lol. That's so if the trailer becomes uncoupled, it doesn't roll AWAY. The breaks kick in with that safety break away, dear lord. Obviously the chains can be tucked inside the shell. I didn't show that here but thanks for the commentary.
@@BriansLawnMaintenance They don’t need to go far. They just need to get it far enough away they can pull out angle grinders to remove whatever lock is on the tongue. You need to wrap your safety chains together and pad lock them behind or around your trailer jack or tongue. Trust me.

Gosh that's wild! Thanks for sharing!
Does that company have any kind of theft insurance type deal with their locks (they'll pay for my trailer if the lock is defeated)? Thanks

Hi Brain Great Video How about a Kill Switch for your Zero Turns 👍
Love that idea. Or a code you punch in to a keypad
I have a question I’m not trying to promote
Back ur truck there crist cross n twist the chains tight n pull away with lock n all best locks are wheel boots
Love it, great tips
And Number 3.... Do you have a GPS tracker installed?!!!
We don't on the trailers, that's a good call. The biggest companies by us do, I know that!

@@BriansLawnMaintenance thank you I’ll try
You didn’t do anything with your safety chains. You realize anyone can use the safety chains to steal the trailer, right?
C’mon man.
