Although I liked the Roman ruins, Egypt was the best of the themes in TP, it still has lots of potential.
So excited for this. TP 2 was so beautifully crafted and thought provoking. Love the world and the different new humans interacting. Excited to dive back into it!
That first chapter sounds like it'll have a story that delves into the philosophy of mind backups, uploads, and copies in a way that the golden puzzles only briefly touched.
On Cornelius's work terminal, he did write "applicable to Sarabhai? with Noema, yes", a nice hint that more could be salvaged in the DLC.

@@maximusthedude8305 When the player first gets access to that terminal (at the 50% completion mark), nothing has been revealed about what he is planning yet, not even the source event that necessitates such plans (which is revealed in that pit in S-3), so the text would seem a bit cryptic. After completing the game and revisiting it, though, it becomes obvious what those words mean.

@@maximusthedude8305 Yes. Remember Hypatia's journals? The ones that document the early history of the new humans? The later entries have a lot to do with Sarabhai, culminating in the final entry titled "In Memory Still Bright".
This looks so cool! I like that the expansions have had “Road to” themed names
I admire the spatial memory of the developers, who created it To fit not one not two, but couple puzzles in such spaces is enourmous effort and hard work.
Base game was overly trivialized in terms of puzzles, hopefully this continuation will pull my brain through a meat grinder.
It was not trivialized. It had the perfect balance of the difficulty: 75/15/10
The problem was that we all got used to the amazing mods created on Talos 1 wherein they got really difficult and creative. Talos 2 had to introduce the new items and then build difficulty up, meaning that it wasn't until the lost levels or the golden puzzles that anything got really difficult, and even then, not like some of the Talos 1 user community content (WHICH I STILL WANT!). I've been waiting for this expansion for so long. We've needed the upper end of the difficulty curve since a week after Talos 2 came out and we all beat it. 😁

My leading theory is that you play as him while he's trapped in the Machine during the Talos 2 campaign. You solve puzzles in the Machine's dream, while also learning more about Athena and her Theory of Everything.

Talos 1 had great puzzles. Talos 2 puzzles were easier, but it had a massive story. I hope this DLC combines both elements and impresses me once again.
Looking forward a lot to this! We loved Talos Principle 2. The best game for me so far.

The MC Escher esk of the Hexahedrone is what i'm most excited for, as it appears the full 3D volume for puzzles.
Makes me wonder, if we may see, potentially, non-Euclidian geometry puzzles too
I guess Hexahedron sounds more exciting than Cube but it looks like it will have lots of mind boggling gravity shifts in it.

Glad to hear this, it was my only criticism too. I love how deep and philosophical both games are, it's part of their charm and character! However, after playing TTP1 a couple times many years ago and seeing two of the endings, I used a walkthrough to aide the handful of remaining stars and found out how many fun easter eggs were tucked away! Spent a lot of time in TTP2's much larger open areas with almost nothing. I did love finding the broken MLA monitor during my second playthrough of the demo of Elohim's boot process. The only "puzzler" that meets/slightly beats Portal for me!

Hopefully the areas just aren't pointlessly empty like the base game, also hoping the puzzles are significantly harder. I did this game in two sittings and the longest I spent on a single puzzle was just over 15 mins because of an obscure interaction between mechanics.
TP1 was definitely the better game, gameplay wise. I do like TP2's story where others do not though.
I barely beat the base game. I don't think I'm going to be smart enough for the DLC 😭
