Thank you for the compilation! I was really happy with the ending I got, and I'm glad to see the rest of them :) The one where you shut down the pyramid is s ominous! I also loved the secret scenes. Byron's dreams makes me feel things 🥺
Glad this was uploaded. I ran the game on the highest settings with no glitches or issues. It was beautiful. Then the ending glitched and was playing in half speed desynced from the audio. What a shame.
I think there is one more scene after you deposit all the stars at the star temple on the island where the VTOL plane lands. It has Athena's discoveries about the universe. Although I kind of like that you kept it out, that makes it a secret for the worthy players who went through all the effort of solving all of those star puzzles, some of which were quite nasty!
That is not and ending scene, actually some of the scenes here are for completing the golden puzzles which are the next step after getting all the stars
I went with to not use the machine but to not destroy it. Prometheus just before you enter the lift sounded just like Elohim. When he talks about generations. I’m still glad I choose that path. It felt rushed and it shouldn’t have just been up to 1K. Like how do you use the machine without making the same mistakes humans did. They needed to know that. I felt like they would destroy more than just the earth unless they used it carefully.
Hmm, returnign back after a month off - left the game at the golden gates - I got Leap of faith, the bonus scene - with ghosts though, the Yaqut and Miranda scene, Pelegrino succeeding, Miranda and Coreneliu - advanced civilization - and the Trevor memorial. Dunno how I could have gotten the Byron ending though, especially since he was mayor. PS. Also you technically missed an ending.
Thanks for this. You miss a scene when Byron gives the mayor's speech if he is mayor and you choose to destroy the machine. Presumably there's a Herman version too, but I haven't seen it. I'm also hearing there are more possible 'secret' mayors, so maybe even more scenes?
@@BlackTorito There's actually 4 different mayor speeches scenes, depending on your choices and who is elected mayor. Watch the video below. ruclips.net/video/U5_oGDfU6Kk/видео.html (Machine destroyed) 2:33 Rand 3:03 Hermanubis 3:42 Byron (Machine shut down) 10:10 All 3 mayors arguing

I noticed that Alcaratz speaks instead of Cornelius/Byron in some endings if you chose to do nothing, but that didn't happen in my testing. I guess there is something that activates him.
I collected all the scenes in this video on my first playthrough. However, in "LEAP OF FAITH", the scene where grass grows behind "1k" walking was a little different. He was walking with pink particle humans.
I got them as well. I wondered if they were the iterations of those left behind in the simulation, like Samsara, Shepherd, DOG, admin from RTG (if chosen) etc
@@magpiestudent9357I think they are all of the figments. They show up in the credits when you collect all of the purple memories of people who spent time on the island (Miranda, Athena, and Cornelius)

ruclips.net/video/paYPhM5nNEc/видео.html I haven't been able to find the name of the song, although you can listen to a clean version of it there. It sounds like it might be a remix of another song from the first game. If the timestamp doesn't set correctly, the track starts at 2:38:30.
If you don't do the golden puzzles and meet with Cornelius and rescue Miranda, the Athena free scene is missing Cornelius and Miranda, and their scene playing chess never appears, nor them looking out over the city from the dam.

Good question I think nobody knows, it seems its a mixture of stats probably since I got everything in the game and nothing. Maybe if your popularity stat is high?
@@AlucardNoir I did, but I stopped in Act 3 since I needed to elect all mayors in one playthrough. So I probably didnt max out my popularity which I suspect is what triggers it
ghosts is determined by how many memories/remnants(?) you got i.e. the purple ghosts of miranda, athena and cornelius. i think if you get 90+% or 100% you get the ghosts in that scene
I got the leap of faith ending and Trevor's grave. I could NOT be bothered to try for the other endings. Unlike the first game, which I was obsessed with, I found the sequel a real slog to get through, especially towards the end. Thank you for putting all the endings here!
I didn't play the first, but really enjoyed this one. I agree with you though, the last few hours of the game I was just willing it to end. Really enjoyed the overall experience though
@@BlackTorito Thats an incredibly sad scene. Byron reaching for the stars, a future robbed form him, forced to be contained in an isolated, unambitious city.
@@zepwafelsYes I just saw the scene in this video and it made me so sad. Byron is a beautiful character. I'm si happy I decided to side with him and embrace the future. Now he can reach for the stars
@@scas97 I chose to deactivate the machine (I was with Byron's side at first, but in the end I sided with Al and Yakut [and, side note, the person Doge connected me with was Helga]). And Byron was self-destructive (he got overloaded because he was blinded by emotion, when trying to find Athena. Who knows what he would do in his relentless enthusiasm to reach the whole cosmos with a machine *this* powerful). He should first earn his goal, by showing he is indeed ready to reach the stars (and wanting to reach them and being ready to reach them are two incredibly different things). @@BlackTorito I collected all logs and chose "I want to know the truth" with Byron being the Mayor but I didn't get that scene. Does it happen post credits? Cause I skipped the credits and the game only went to the main menu.
Completing all main puzzles in all areas will unlock the golden gates where the gold puzzles are located. There are 12 gold puzzles, one in each area. Most of them are challenging and tougher than all other puzzles in the game. After completing them, you will close on of the story's major story arcs and will be able to take a mission to save Miranda. Note that there is no need to collect all stars and flames since these do not have impact on the endings.
Skipping the credits ALSO SKIPS THE POST-CREDITS SCENE, if you were to get one. So be careful! I hope they rethink about this and patch it!
Yes don’t skip them
OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO T_T I was so confused where all these extra scenes could have come!

Why should they? You pay respect to the developers, they pay the respect to you back.

Odd how Alcatraz is in none of the endings from what I can see. Did the devs forget about him? Or did I simply miss him in one of these?
