Wow, very informative video! Love how you broke out each section. Just found you guys and we're going to Greece in June 2025. About to start warching all your Greece videos!!
I'm going to Greece next March on a school trip with my friends and I'm SO excited. I've traveled a ton before, but Greece has always been a place I want to visit and I'm soooo excited!! Thanks for this video, especially the packing part, it's always nice to have a refresher on what to pack lol
this video was incredibly helpful! my boyfriend and I are doing your exact itinerary at the end of august. we're so thankful to have found your content :)
Enjoy watching the both of you so much! You are the best tour guides ever! You’re both so charming and it’s just lovely to watch your interactions, and how you are living your best lives and taking us along for the ride… thank you‼️
Greece is always going to be a place to visit. Islands like Corfu and Crete blew my mind. The food is out of this world and the little fishing villages are equally so.😊
Hi guys! I cannot believe that you actually uploaded a travel guide for Greece this time! I cannot tell you how many times I watched your videos for Bali as I was planning my honeymoon there back in October - your videos literally saved me! Everything you’ve shared about Greece is pretty accurate! It’s sad to see how expensive Greece has become over the years though - even us Greeks often joke about not being able to visit Cyclades islands for our summer vacation as they’re so pricey 😅 Again great travel guide 😊
Harriet and I have been to Greece many times. You never have enough time and money to see the things you want to see and do. The last trip we took to Greece was a trip we took just before covid broke out. We managed to visit Paros , Santorini and Athens. We were scheduled for Crete ,but we had to cancel because the borders were closing and we had to get a flight out of the country, back to the states. We have been to Crete on another trip. Our impressions were, people friendly and wow! great food. You will have a wonderful time there guys. Your guide is so well done. As always Guys . We ❤ love you. Harriet, Jim and Yuki Richmond, Va. P.S. Working our way to Cape town.
I wanted to clarify that the vaccinations you listed are the suggested (and often required) immunizations for children in most developed countries in the world. If you attended public or private school in South Africa, you most likely have all of those vaccinations already but probably just don’t remember getting them because they are one-time vaccines that you got when you were under the age of 5. So when the CDC, WHO or other health agencies include those vaccines in their travel recommendations they are aiming to protect individuals who had parents who chose to not vaccinate them as children from potentially getting one of those often times deadly diseases.
One beautiful island is Poros. Its a small island 1 hour away from Pireus and 2 hours away by car from Athens. Its an magnificent island with great beaches and for calmly holidays. Worth a visit.
Thank you for the great information! I’m heading to Greece May 2025! I’m obsessed with your white off the shoulder top you wore in Santorini! Can you share the brand, style, link? Also your swimwear is gorgeous as well!
if you have good companionship, all the beaches in Greece are beautiful island and mainland (from Alexandroupoli to Gavdos and from the overseas islands to Kastelorizo), have a good time.
@RhettandClaire we are off to Greece next month, and uses your videos and a bit part of the basis of the trip! Wanted to know, where would be the best spots in Oia to take the blue dome church photos? Do you have Google coordinates maybe of where you guys took your photos?
Hey there. Glad the videos were helpful. We don’t have the exact coordinates but they’re very easy to find. There’s only 2-3 blue dome churches in Oia. When in doubt follow the crowds. If you go at a busy time like sunset then there will be a bit of a line to take the photo. That’s just how it is unfortunately.
Great video, i saw you mentioned in the early part of your video that you have uk and irish passports. Are you dual cirizens of south Africa as well? 🌎 😊
We rented right on the spot without needing to book ahead for Paros island. This was in mid-june though. For Santorini we would say message ahead of time on Whatsapp to book a car. Some dealers had very limited stock. The same could be said for Milos, if you go in July/August, booking a car ahead would be recommended.
@@RhettandClaire Thank you for the tip! I'll be going to Milos in September and I'm just planning to rent a scooter only, but I'll definitely message rental places in advance :)
We are travelling to Greece (from U.S.), and want to bring about 9500 dollars in cash with us. Can we keep the cash (and passports) on us in our pants pockets when going through security or customs? I would hate to have to put cash in that plastic bin, only to have it stolen! And is the limit still 10,000 dollars? Thanks in advance!
It's more safe and less of a issue with airport security if you use a debit card and withdraw from an ATM as needed. There are banks out there that have no withdrawal fees on your banks side and likely have a fee on the bank you're using. I recommend contacting your bank about your travel plans and using your ATM card overseas. Everything must be removed from your person when going thru security including passports and cash.
You guys are such a cute couple . Having said that I need to correct you about a few things . Almost everyone speaks English , especially in tourist areas. Water is safe EVERYWHERE. The difference is that ion the islands because of lack of water they ship the water from elsewhere which means it’s not good ( doesn’t taste nice ) . Huge difference! You made several generalisations which they are simply at least misleading. I understand that this is what you are doing but I always find strange people talking and advising others just after spending a few days in a place . My feedback is strict but fair . I do like your videos but I don’t necessarily agree with them . Keep up the good work.
If you watched our other Greece videos you would see the links to all of the places we stayed. They are all in the description of our Greece itinerary video, which we mention in this video. The resource pack is exactly that. A resource for people who don’t have time to search or watch the videos. Since time and information is money we think it is completely fair to charge for that.
Get over it, Santorini has some of the most unique landscapes of the islands. Is it my fave? No! But stop trying to act superior over other tourist especially coming from South Africa
Hi. I'm a fellow South African, and I'm planning a trip within the next month or two. I thoroughly enjoyed your channel. Do you perhaps have a website, email, or whatsapp number to contact you?

EXCELLENT!!!!! Thank you!!!! 🤩
You're welcome!
Can you please mention those areas in Athens where it wasnt too safe? I am considering going there and it would be nice to know
Areas just north of Monastiraki and near the Omonia station felt a bit dodge.

Can you just turn up to islands and rent a scooter or you have to book in advance?

Do you need to print your tickets for the ferry rides?
No, you can access the tickets on your phone on the Ferry Hopper app:) Use this to show to the ferry staff.
what about Rhodes island, you don't like Rhodes
They said nothing about the Dodecanese islands. I believe they didn't visit and they no nothing about
those fantastic islands.
