I've only seen this and another free dynamic-EQ, and the other one is very old and only 32 bits Windows VST.
do you know how to get the frequency to show in nova? ive seen other channels you can see the beats frequency as it plays while you adjust the settings and ive noticed you havent, do you know how to ge it to show?
I found the answer, so i will help the one person that liked the comment, there is a section at the top right corner of the graph where it says in a list: IN, OUT, SC and OFF. By default it is OFF, switch it to IN and you will see the frequency.

Amazing.
I had heard about the rage of Fab Filter of the use of dynamic EQ, and everyone's use of it. Then I heard about NOVA EQ. Being free, I immediately tried it and was blown away, so much so, that I bought NOVA GE Gentleman's Edition (which is half the price of Fab Filter) which has a really neat A.I. module for automatically applying the dynamics. I recommend the free version of NOVA to anyone, it is fantastic!

This NOVA EQ is so bloody great!
I use it on more and more sources with each passing session.
It replaces Pro Q3 and Waves F6 for me, and while the GUI is a small point I must say that I prefer the NOVA’s interface quite a bit over those others.
This thing is just such a winner in every way.
It works and sounds fantastic.
I am definitely planning on stepping up to the expanded paid version now that I’m convinced of its quality.

hey Guys and Dolls, i have just downloaded it today. Its telling me to drag and drop one of the four types of formats ( VST3 for Logic I guess) but drop it where? any tips would be appreciated. thnx

I find that I get a lot more natural results when using dynamic eq with negative ratios than with static eq.
can you side chain with this plugin?
@@mattm3729 yes, I’ve read in their manual that it’s possible, albeit some DAWs are different in this regard

I just downloaded and am using the free version. I feel likeni oughtbto be looking out the windows for someone to take it away. Well, i have guns. Im keeping it. It's amazing! Best plugin i have. Doubled an acoustic guitar track and after this EQ i may not add any other effect. Sounds great. Thank you Jesus! ... i mean.. Thank you TDR. I very well may buy the gentleman edition in the future since this has become such a game changer
Is dynamic EQ not the same as multiband compression? Seems like the same principle of frequency-dependent compression.
Yeah, though dynamic-EQs and multiband compressors can do the same thing sometimes, they work differently and sound different too. Also, dynamic-EQs allow us to compress on very narrow areas.

@@bordeelcontroleur i've heard that due to the nature of TDR, that multiple instances wont end up working like you'd expect. i am of course a bonehead when it comes to all this and have no idea if that is true or not...
