    I think it is your wonderful artistic instinct that transforms your paper into a beautiful expression of art even when things don't go as you envisioned them. It's your ability to know your watercolors and your mastery of knowing the amount of detail it takes to give your painting the form to have it, not only make sense, but to create a solid reality amid the abstraction. Thank you for another wonderful instruction video.

    Anastasia, you became by far my favorite artist watercolor! You have such a sensibility and softness. This video for me was the best I have seem from you (I just found out about you few days ago, so I didn't watch a lot yet). Have you heard about some people having the experience of being guided by existence? Scientists, mathematicians (Ramanujan), dancers (Vaslav Nijínski , painters (Van Gogh)... all have something in common, at some point the mind step away and the heart open for something beyond. The state of no mind allow through the heart to receive informations, inspirations... and they are able to become a channel for the existence express itself. In this video your painting just became that and is beuaitufl watch you watching the process happening in front of your eyes, Instead of doing what you wanted at first, you allowed it happen and you learned something beyond any technique and teaching, you went beyond of all that and that's the result. Thank you so much for sharing

    • @AnastasiaMily
      @AnastasiaMily  Месяц назад

      Oh wow, thank you for such a kind and insightful comment! What you wrote about being guided by existence resonates with me deeply. I have painted in many mediums, but watercolour is the only one that takes me to the place that you described so beautifully, where the heart is open to receive, and things happen as if by magic. I think watercolour invites us there, to the place where we can experience that magic, but we need to let go of so many things before we can reach it, and that journey teaches us so many things not just about art, but about life too...
      Thank you again, and I wish you a peaceful and creative day!

      @@AnastasiaMily I had this feeling about you since the first video I watched from you. I have the same thing about watercolor. when I was child I used to paint with oil, I was 6 and other students were pretty old, the teacher didn't care about me so I never learned anything, she just came and correct what I did just to have something nice to show to my parents, latter I tried again and didn't work so I gave up. Now at 40 I watched some watercolor videos and someway somehow it just flow and I was able to do things I had no idea I would be capable to do. Since I watched your videos things started unblock on me and it's just flowing, not control, let go. It have something of meditation and self inner work that watercolor teach. Thank you

      @AnastasiaMily  Месяц назад

      You are very right, watercolours are flow, and meditation, and letting go, and being in the moment, and trusting the process... They are also such incredible fun! So happy for you that things are flowing in your creative process 😊

    My goodness Anastasia, what a beautifully glowing piece! I love the way you splattered the masking fluid too. I’m not a fan of masking fluid, but I can see how much different it behaves with this method. Such a gorgeous fall feel to this one. Now I’ve got to go paint some fall leaves.🍁 🍂. Thanks for the glowing inspiration. Blessings to you!💗Rita

      Thank you so much dear Rita! I am not a fan of masking fluid too, but sometimes it is such a fun little tool to use in a loose painting like this one, so I have started playing with it more 😊. Enjoy your weekend, I hope it is a relaxing and creative one!

    Trop beau, j'adore ! 😍 Merci pour ce tuto. Une question : par quelles couleurs remplacer le quinacridone sienna et aussie red gold ? Merci 🙏

    • @AnastasiaMily
      @AnastasiaMily  Месяц назад

      Thank you so much 😊 You can make a colour similar to Quinacridone Sienna out if Quinacridone Red and Quinacridone Gold. I find it hard to find a substitute for Quinacridone colours as they are so vibrant and transparent. And as for Aussie Red Gold, I mixed a similar colour out of Indian Yellow and Quinacridone Red, as they share pigments with Aussie Red Gold.

    Do you think the hake brush is worthwhile?

    • @AnastasiaMily
      @AnastasiaMily  Месяц назад +1

      I use my hakes quite often for blending colours in large washes. They create lovely blends and expressive marks, and they are quite reasonably priced too - I think it's a fun watercolour 'tool' to have!
