I made this and it came out perfect following your instructions...but, my husband wanted 3 pockets..so with a little adjustments, I made him a 3 pocket one with old material from his hunting pants....he loves it. People are always asking him where he got it....he always proudly says, my wife made this...love it..thank you for this simple idea and easy instructions. HUGS!
Great tutorial. All the way through I was thinking what no lining. And then wham all made so clear. Fantastic idea. Looking like I now have my afternoon all planned. These would make a great quick stocking filler. Thanks again for yet another wonderful and easy tutorial.
Lizzy, you are huge! I have been sewing for many years. I learned from my mother when I sat next to her as a little girl. I managed to sew a lot of things in my life, from shirts, dresses, pants, hats, coats and curtains, upholstery and even my daughter's wedding dress and evening dresses and I also sewed for other people. Precisely in such a "simple" matter that I saw on RUclips, I saw a lot of videos and I didn't find one that explained like you. I got confused with the location of the pockets. I sewed and undid and didn't understand what I did wrong. I ended up playing the video in slower motion because English is not my native language and I realized the error and within a minute (after I corrected one more time...😉) I changed the pocket mode with the smaller one inside. This is an amazing thing! I received an order from my daughter for a small wallet like this to put her driver's license on a key chain. And here in ten minutes it is ready. I wish you lots of health and all the best in the world💕 💖
Yahooo my 2nd attempt I did it! I’m going to add embellishments to mine. I’m going to make all the woman in my family these for Christmas this year! Thank you
Thank you so much for the dimensions of the wallet or purse. No one wants to tell you. They just want you to send money to get the instructions. But I thank you so much again. I think I’m going to make myself one. Have a good day.❤❤😊
I am a very new sewer in Perth Western Australia I have subscribed to your channel as I love the way you explain every step! Thank you! Love your accent!
Oh Lizzy, I just love this little wallet and have lost count of how many I have made. The sizes have varied enormously depending on the length of leftovers I have. Credit/gift card sized ones are especially popular. A big thanks for such a clever idea. 7:39
Exactly what I'm looking for. I want a flat wallet just to hold some paper money for the grandchildren. The girls can put their little dollars in their wallets for when they go to the Dollar Store to shop. Perfect! Thank you for such a lovely demonstration. I adore your sewing studio. Very pretty. You did the tutorial just wonderfully. Easy to follow instructions. Thank you so much. I hope you make many more tutorials. ❤
Hi Lizzy, this has been a lovely beginners project. I made it for my sister's birthday along with a matching tote bag. Over all I am very pleased with it and she will be too 🥰 thank you for sharing your talents with us x
Man...oh man! I've been in a crafty mood and this is right up my alley! Will be making this to give as gifts. I love giving gifts made by hand. Which includes baking, too 🥰 Love it
Love this, so quick and easy. I will be making one (or more). Love your beautiful blouse also. I always enjoy your videos. Thank You for sharing Your Time, and Your Talent with all of us.
I have been experimenting with small wallets for cell phone purses, and this one is the best yet! I made it at 4.5 inches for a single card width and it came out great. Thanks! Peace from Ohio …
Thank you, Lizzy. You have a lovely way about you & make things easy to grasp, I'm an enthusiastic amateur sew-er, so I need the help. I can't wait to make these. 💜
Love it! Only two seams this time, so tricky. I always learn little tips watching your tutorials. Feels like I just popped in to visit a friend and she showed me something fun to make. Thanks Lizzie!❤️✂️🧵👍🏻
Thank you! I made one today for a friend and will give it to her for Christmas with a gift card in. I messed up with the popper as it was the first time I’d had to use one, but got there in the end and I’m delighted with the finished purse.
Thank you! I've been trying to make something exactly like this for 2 weeks, multiple other tutorials have just got me flustered or not given me the amazing finished product like this one! Thank you
A cutting Matt works fine if you have a small size one for punching holes. I absolutely love your quick and easy projects your very easy to follow and I will defo be making lots more of these, thank you xxx
Oh Lizzie, I hate to sound like one of those new California fans, but must admit, I’ve just found you and, yes, I’m a new California fan! How wonderful it is to find quick and easy things to do in a few minutes of time. I particularly love this one and can see that they will sell at our church bazaar. I’ll do several and stash them. Thank you for these great ideas and tutorials. I hope you’re including your serger, too.
I've made several of these, you make it so simple to understand. I'm going to attempt to scale one up to fit my new tablet, but numbers aren't my strong suit. I did make a larger one into a gorgeous clutch, but I just winged it since the size didn't need to be exact.
I am sending you a super big Thank you! My sister wanted a phone pouch with no flap or fasteners. It also was to accommodate bith sunglasses and prescription glasses. After watching this on repeat I finally got my head around the configuration of the folds with the finished pouch having the requested pockets plus an additional card slot as well. She is very happy and is amazed there are no visible seam edges! 💕
Love this! I increased the size and made a clutch purse with wrist strap. Sooo easy! Thank you to Catherine Gray (below) for her mention regarding sewing the raw edges closed before turning the pockets. I'm going to make one of these to match every outfit.
I made this, I am in Australia and found pockets too deep so measured mine 2.5” 2.5” then 2.25, 2.25.. that works better 26” and rounded corners… it a go to for a quick project or gift…love her and follow
not to long ago i made a few of these purses and sent them to friends in the UK with a letter inside as well. every one loved there gift from ES. i think i will be making more. Thank you. x
I loved making these two pocket wallets. Last year I made twenty five as a fundraiser item for my quilt guild show. I love your blouse and I enjoy everything that you make and post.

New subscriber, a friend told me about your channel. This little purse is so cute and so pretty, and so easy. Thanks for sharing your video with all of us. I am excited about making some of these. Thanks again ❤️❤️❤️
Thank You for putting this option back up. Would You consider making a larger bag using this same method would straps or a strap like a crossbody bag? Enjoy watching You and Your daughter Abeygale.
Ive just been looking for a very easy wallet! Yours is the best. I may use a join to make a differnt fabric flap as I have tons of denim and fabric scraps. Also I dont have snaps. Was thinking an elastic or combo fabric or ribbon strap and elastic to go around the wallet. Thanks so much. My first vieo of yours Ive watched. Will see what else you have!

What a wonderful and easy project. Thank you so much.
I like both new versions, were one is longer & interfaced and the other is shorter but with a lining - both great updated tutorials, thanks :)
sorry Lesley, I had written a whole load of stuff but didn't press save! I blame being blonde and old :)
